Marvel's The Avengers (2012) Movie Review

It has arrived, the highly anticipated blockbuster Marvel movie is now showing in cinemas nationwide. Courtesy of Nuffnang, I had the opportunity to catch the premiere screening of Marvel's The Avengers last week over at One Utama, and I must say it was a good movie.

Battleship (2012) Movie Review

Battleship, the latest and greatest science fiction naval war movie is out and I had the chance to catch its premiere over at Midvalley the other night thanks to ChurpChurp and Nuffnang. based on the old school Battleship game I used to play, the movie directed by Peter Berg and released by Universal Pictures stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna, and Liam Neeson.

Hard Rock Hotel Penang

Hard Rock Hotel Penang, one of the more luxurious rock themed hotel located along the beaches of Batu Ferringhi Penang was my choice of accommodation end of last year. It was to be a quiet getaway with Janice for my birthday as well as to celebrate the end of 2011. I did not plan it well ahead, in fact it was more of a last minute plan to crash in at Hard Rock Hotel due to the unavailability of Pulau Jerejak's hotel which was our initial plan.

Street Dance 2 (2012)

It was the special screening of the movie Street Dance 2 over at E-Curve which I had the opportunity to watch thanks to Churp Churp. I've always been a fan of dance movies as I felt the actors and actress inside had to be really skillful to pull of those super tough dance moves. The same cannot be said with the plots and storyline of movies of this genre, which proves true for Street Dance 2.

Brussels Beer Cafe Menara Hap Seng

I've been hearing loads of good stuffs about Brussels Beer Cafe, be it over at their branch in Jaya One, Ampang, or Solaris Dutamas. Well, over the weekend, got a call from my friends and we decided to crash in for a quick meet-up and lunch at Brussels Beer Cafe over at Menara Hap Seng. The cafe itself was located at the ground floor in full view of the streets outside, so it's hard not to miss it.

Glenmorangie held their Orange Retro Funk party at the new and exclusive spot The Pool the other night. With the tagline "Unnecessarily Well Made", I felt it was a rather clever play of words. Being there that night with unlimited glasses of Glenmorangie The Original ten year old whisky was an experience in itself.
