It was my first time over to Pearl International Hotel at Old Klang Road , and what better time to pay this hotel a visit than to check out their Ramadhan Buffet Preview Dinner. Way back early this year, I had the opportunity to catch the launch by Essilor’s Crizal Forte UV over at Optical 88 Midvalley Mall . Now these lenses were very technologically advanced by my standards, clear eyeglass lens offering the most advanced protection against damaging UV light. It was a Sunday morning when Janice and I headed to Maju Home Concept's latest gallery in USJ for their grand opening. Aptly named the Maju Home Concept, they were established back in 1987 with their first outlet store in Setapak. It was another feast for the stomach a couple of weeks back at Dorsett Grand Subang's Ramadhan Preview. I had the opportunity to dine there, where scrumptious dishes were laid out in the buffet spread for our consumption. So there I was at this new-to-me Agehan Japanese Restaurant in Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam (GBWHSA) last night for a short introduction to their bento set as well as an announcement of their recent Halal certification. As Ramadhan approaches, more and more restaurants are having their buffet preview. I had the opportunity to dine at Tonka Bean Cafe in Impiana Hotel KLCC last night, and it was a pleasant affair. I must say, for a preview buffet dinner, they did not hold back on the variety of dishes offered. We were spoilt for choice last night.  A part of the Ramadhan Buffet Preview @ T onka Bean Cafe Impiana Hotel KLCC The theme for the buffet this year is "Santapan Ramadan", where Tonka Bean Cafe will be offering a special price of RM108++ per person for the period from 10th July 2013 until 11th August 2013. Children at the age of 6 to 12 and senior citizen above 55 years of age are charged at RM54++ per person. 

Today's the 13th of June 2013, and just before heading out to work this morning, I took a quick glance at Baby Martin who has just woken up and was sucking his thumb (a habit I try to discourage each time he does it). Driving all the way out to Taman Bukit Maluri in Kepong this afternoon, my colleagues and I decided to drop by Tuck Kee Restaurant. I was told they were famous for their dim sums. Late last year, 18th October 2012 to be exact I was at the Charriol Geneve Starhill Gallery Flagship Store Grand Opening and I must say, the watches and jeweleries from Charriol were really beautiful. Lingham's Chilli Sauce, now this is one brand name that have been around and easily recognized as a household brand for good sauce. Used in various dishes, I have had my fair taste of this fine sauce. In fact I even have one bottle of it at home now, mum loves it. Today, Lingham's Chilli Sauce launched its latest campaign at Publika by unveiling Lingham's branded cars that will travel nationwide to engage the public and spread awareness of its brand. Recently, Samsung rolled out the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II, this time in amber brown colour. This brings the total number of available Galaxy Note II color versions to four, the two new ones joining the initially launched Ceramic White and Titanium Gray.  Which brings to mind, why brown, and does it bring any significance to the person holding it?
