As the month comes to an end today, so does the month-long beer fest called this Oktoberfest. I was at another Halloween themed Oktoberfest over at The Beer Factory tonight, and as usual the beers kept on flowing. Halloween parties are everywhere as the end of October approaches. This round, I was invited for the Tiger Halloween Party over at Thai Club KL last night, and my, it was an experience. As this was my first time over at the club, it was an experience to see what people are up to after dark. So I've heard so much about this non-halal restaurant serving really good burgers, The Hungry Hog was one of my want-to-go eatery. A Hard Hat Party? Now this is rather new to me, as I'm pretty used to attending restaurant new launches when everything is already set up and ready to serve. Car launch events, especially high-end luxury ones are a rarity for me, so I was pretty psyched up when invited to check out the all-new Lexus LS Luxury Sedan Launching over at Lexus Centre in Mutiara Damansara a couple of days back. Today, the 18th of October 2012 marked the grand opening of Charriol Geneve flagship boutique in Malaysia, over in the up-market Starhill Gallery. Charriol, a family-owned and operated international luxury brand that specializes in fine Swiss timepieces, jewellery and accesories celebrated the launch of its very first new-concept flagship boutique.  I had the opportunity to catch the opening event, and it was truly a new experience for me. A couple of weeks back, on the 6th of October 2012 to be exact I was at Hard Rock Hotel Penang for another one of their happening event. This time around, it's an event for a really good cause, the 2012 global Pinktober campaign . What's it about? In a nutshell, it's a month-long philanthropic initiative, created by Hard Rock to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Just last week, I was at the Pulse Ultra Club @ Grand Millennium Hotel KL to catch this band Chill perform. It was a casual event, where we were treated to some really nice music from the seven person band with rather captivating talents. Oh, plus the club do serve some nice food too, one which goes well with their drinks.  Chill; an irascible seven persons band with vivacious personalities and captivating talents.

So there I was at my first ever Muay Thai workshop thanks to Nuffnang for the invitation. Aptly named Dragon Muay Thai Club , with the dragon themed shirts and equally intimidating Muay Thai fighters, the club located on the 4th floor of Wisma City Tower in Jalan Alor was where I spent my weekend. There I was again at this really nice restaurant and bar located in Kelana Jaya, this round it was to try out some more of their new menu. If you're an avid fan of the famous Peking Duck and the way this chinese cuisine is being presented, do take note a new eatery is in town. Located in Bangsar Baru, just opposite Alexis to be exact, Melbourne Peking Duck is this newly opened chinese restaurant serving some really nice Peking Duck.
