A brand new egg and meat concept restaurant just 'hatched' in town, Brunch & Munch Restaurant (B&M) strategically located in the newly opened G Village retail hub, below the G residence Condominium by Tan & Tan Developments. Just last week or so, I was at the Orchid room of the Majestic Hotel for a cheesy affair. It was an European Cheese Afternoon, where we were treated to an array of cheese, in a very beautiful flowery setting. The Cheese Platter is a simple yet classic way to present and enjoy different types of European cheese. It's not everyday that I have an opportunity to dine in an established Chinese restaurant inside the very posh Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, let alone being served by a top chef. Recently named one of Asia's top 20 chefs, Hong Kong native Chef Alex Au introduced 40 new Chiu Chow dishes at Pak Loh Chiu Chow, Starhill Gallery . Just a couple of days back, I had the chance to taste some rather nice Czech cuisine during the launch of the Czech Culinary Experience @ Vogue Cafe, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel. Just yesterday, I was at Starhill Gallery for their Charity Drive activation. The Dignity for Children Foundation (Dignity), a learning centre with 1,000 poor and vulnerable children age 2 to 17 years old, yesterday received strong endorsements from British mezzo-soprano Ms. Carly Paoli and Starhill Gallery as part of Starhill Gallery’s Christmas Charity Drive. Haagen Dazs has come up with brand new premium flavoured lattes, a refreshing addition to their ice cream menu. I was at the launch last week, having a great time going through all six iconic Haagen Dazs ice cream flavours paired with illy coffee. This pairing would definately pull in the crowd of coffee and ice cream lovers alike, and are available at all Haagen Dazs outlets. So there I was the other day at Kenny Rogers Roasters Tropicana City Mall to try out their latest offering, the Spicy Hot Fiery Feast . The rotisserie-roasted chicken experts have slowly cooked the chicken to perfection and blended the taste of KRR’s unique and hot BBQ sauce to the delectable dish. So there I was up at Avenue K Rooftop for the Tiger Bites Street Food Festival last weekend. Probably due to the bright colours and that cute purple mascot they call the Kirikuru.
