Baby Martin's 1st Birthday Party Celebration With The Family

Image
Time flies, and it flies really fast. It felt like yesterday Baby Martin came into our lives, and just last week, he experienced his first birthday party with us . We decided to hold a small birthday celebration for Baby Martin to celebrate his one year old birthday over at my home in Penang. One year has passed, with each day bringing us new memories and learning through this parenting journey of mine. Happy Birthday Baby Martin <3

Baby Martin's First Teeth, No More Toothless Grins

Image
Gone were the days where Baby Martin had this toothless grin, when a couple of months back he grew his first tooth. Subsequently a couple of teeth appeared, amidst cranky behavior, always finding things to bite, and fussiness. Now that he is close to 11 months of age, I felt the need to document down a couple of his photos in this little space of mine on the world wide web.  Hello there! Notice my teeth?

Baby Martin Can Only Turn, Not Crawling Yet @ 6 Months Old

Image
Another short update on Baby Martin's progress. I'm beginning to get the hang of monitoring his progress as he grows up, asking around and slightly comparing with the usual baby's development. Well, at 6 months and 3 days old, I would have expected Baby Martin to turn with ease and maybe start crawling.  Good morning! I just bathed and am ready to turn!

Keelung Miao Kou Night Market Taiwan

Image
While browsing through my photos, I saw a couple of nice Taiwan food photos when Janice and I were in Taiwan last year which I have yet to share here. It was Day 3 of our Taiwan trip when we dropped by this famous night market in Keelung district. Better known as Keelung Miao Kou Night Market , the crowd there was huge with food available everywhere.  Keelung Miao Kou Night Market Taiwan " Keelung’s Miaokou Night Market is famous throughout Taiwan for its large selection of food.  The night market is easily accessible on foot for most travelers arriving from other cities. From the Keelung railway station walk east straight along the street following the harbor in the direction of the Keelung Harbor Bureau (identifiable at night by its large orange neon sign. The night market is roughly one block from the point where you cross a freeway overpass." Source: Wikitravel I was told the crowd that night was lesser than usual due to a slight shower before we arrived I...

My Traditional Chinese Wedding Morning

Image
Today's post shall be of the videos that my dear sister in law, Soon Boon Koon just uploaded unto Youtube showcasing the events on my wedding morning. 25th September 2011 was the day I underwent the ceremonial tea ceremony , and the traditional fetching of the bride as well as the "playing" of the bridesmaid. It was also the day I officially tied the knot and said goodbye to "singledom". It was a rather traditional chinese wedding, the moment where everything fits perfectly into place. The beautiful bride, Janice The full video is still in my hometown, hence I really appreciate the effort that my sis in law did to cut it and posted it up to Youtube to share it. Last week, after catching the special screening of Bridesmaid , a couple of us decided to drop by this rather nice looking food court Asia Cafe over at Kota Damansara. I was told there is another similar food court by the same name in PJ which was way more popular. Anyway this was my first time here to sample some of their local delicacies.
