Early this month, it was my dad's birthday and he so happened to be with us in KL, hence we brought him out for a nice Bak Kut Teh dinner at Chuan Kee Restaurant along Jalan Genting Klang before surprising him with a simple birthday cake at home. It was a nice dinner, which I hoped that will make daddy happy.  Happy Birthday Dad !

It was to be a simple birthday lunch for mum, as she did not want anything fancy. We dropped by the Chicago Rib House at Gurney Plaza Penang, one which I have not tried yet. I have tried the branch in 1 Utama a couple of weeks back for their Christmas menu ( Chicago Rib House 1 Utama Christmas Menu ) and it was pretty good, so there I was again hoping for a satisfying lunch.  Chicago Rib House @ Gurney Plaza Penang

Time flies, and it flies really fast. It felt like yesterday Baby Martin came into our lives, and just last week, he experienced his first birthday party with us . We decided to hold a small birthday celebration for Baby Martin to celebrate his one year old birthday over at my home in Penang. One year has passed, with each day bringing us new memories and learning through this parenting journey of mine. Happy Birthday Baby Martin <3

Nuffnang is celebrating it's 5th Birthday very soon, on this 26th February to be exact. When I first heard about this, my first thoughts were "Whoa, it's 5 years already?". Okay, this blog isn't even five years old, but from the first creation of this blog until today, it still publishes primarily Nuffnang ads and the journey with the cute blue stickman has been an exciting and eventful one. ( My Nuffnang Story ) There'll be this cool by-invitation celebration coming soon Now what do I mean by the cute little blue stickman? Well, if you do notice Nuffnang's logo , it is actually this stickman hollering out. I found out the first iteration of Nuffnang's stickman was this really thin character which finally evolved into the logo we have all grown accustomed to today.  The old thinner version of Nuffnang's Stickman The Current Nuffnang's Stickman A vast improvement for Nuffnang's Stickman over the years as we see Nuffnang grow ...

Following up from my previous writeup on this party event, 7aste Moscow , I had the chance to experience it last night over at Laundry Bar, The Curve . The event actually started at 8pm, but yours truly was really late and only arrived past 11pm, hence I missed out some of the initial festivities. 7aste was rather packed, with free flow of beer, and for the VIPs, we were entitled to bottles of Vodkas. 7aste Moscow banne 7aste KL  Friday (2 December 2011)  Laundry Bar, The Curve Website URL: http://www.7aste.com/   Facebook URL: http://www.facebook.com/7aste   Twitter URL: http://twitter.com/7aste    The bartenders were kept busy whole night serving the party goers I was slightly disappointed when I arrived to find the free flow of beer has ended, and the 1 bottle of vodka 7aste promised me wasn't there anymore. Throwing the "free flow" piece of coupon into the bin, I went on ahead to just drink from any bottles my friends threw at me. There w...

It was Hot Magazine's 7th birthday bash, held at Zouk KL with party goers and friends. Saint and Sinners Party, aptly named as the crowd thronged in dressed in Halloween outfits to portray either saints or sinners. Thanks to Benjamin's invite, I had the chance to catch this really happening event. Saints & Sinners Party Invitation A short introduction on what Hot Magazine is all about, quoted from their Facebook page. "Hot Magazine is this fortnightly celebrity entertainment magazine which highlights the latest and hottest happenings in the world of celebrity, movie, music, TV, style and sports in the most creative way possible" Links http://www.hotxpress.com http://www.twitter.com/hotmagazine http://www.youtube.com/hotxpress1 So there I was early in the night at Zouk KL, all ready for the Halloween themed party. Even from outside the venue, we could already spot all the fancy dressed party goers, decked in Halloween outfits. Some were truly sca...
