With the theme of “Time to Enjoy Life”, it will be held at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, where the public can get the best deals for Taiwan travel at this one-stop event from 25 to 29 March 2015. Meet Fresh Taiwanese Dessert Pavilion KL

Image
It has been a while since my last dessert review. Taiwanese desserts have been really popular lately, not exactly my favourite, but I will never turn down a nice bowl of sweet iced dessert. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to catch a high tea session over at Meet Fresh Taiwanese Dessert Pavilion KL with some of their VIPs and founders.  Founders and directors of Meet Fresh, together with the Taiwan Trade Centre, KL representative and VIPs

Keelung Miao Kou Night Market Taiwan

Image
While browsing through my photos, I saw a couple of nice Taiwan food photos when Janice and I were in Taiwan last year which I have yet to share here. It was Day 3 of our Taiwan trip when we dropped by this famous night market in Keelung district. Better known as Keelung Miao Kou Night Market , the crowd there was huge with food available everywhere.  Keelung Miao Kou Night Market Taiwan " Keelung’s Miaokou Night Market is famous throughout Taiwan for its large selection of food.  The night market is easily accessible on foot for most travelers arriving from other cities. From the Keelung railway station walk east straight along the street following the harbor in the direction of the Keelung Harbor Bureau (identifiable at night by its large orange neon sign. The night market is roughly one block from the point where you cross a freeway overpass." Guang Hua Digital Plaza Taiwan

Image
When I was in Taiwan last month, I took the chance to visit their largest electronics street which houses one of their largest digital mall as well, the Gong Hua Digital Plaza. The main reason I wanted to get there was to check out the prices of Taiwan's electronic "toys" versus our local Malaysia prices. There were some items which were way cheaper (eg: headphones, hard disks and pen drives) but the majority of the other electronic items were similarly priced. Janice with one of the huge figurines standing outside Guang Hua Digital Plaza "The Guang Hua Digital Plaza (Chinese: 光華數位新天地 or 光華商場) is a six-story, indoor technological and electronics market located in Taipei, Taiwan. It is located at the intersection of the Zhongzheng and Daan Districts." Miramar Ferris Wheel Taiwan

Image
The Miramar Entertainment Park is this rather huge shopping mall over in the Dazhi area in Zongshan District of Taipei, Taiwan. I was told one of the attractions was it's giant Ferris wheel so during my trip to Taiwan, I wasted no time to experience this 70 metre (230ft) tall Ferris wheel, the 2nd tallest in Taiwan. The view from below this giant wheel

Tamsui Lover Bridge Taiwan

Image
A couple of weeks back I was in Taiwan, and this Tamsui Lover Bridge over in Tamsui district in Taiper Taiwan was one of the attraction spots we went to. Located on the western tip of Tamsui district, this place is called the Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf and is accessible by bus. To reach the place, one only had to take the Taipei Metro (MRT) Tamsui Line to Tamsui Station, and then transfer to Bus Red-26, 836, or 837. Janice and I in front of Tamsui Lover Bridge

Taiwan Food Part 2

Image
Following up on the first part of Janice's collage of Taiwan food ( Taiwan Food Part 1 ), here will be part two with more food. Of course, most of the photos only showcase her as she's the main star! I'm guilty of having most of the Taiwan sausages during the whole trip though. The sausages there are fatter and bigger than the ones we have over here, hence my love for it. #1

Taiwan Food Part 1

The past week have been spent going around Taiwan and I must say there are a couple of things that make Taiwan a great place to be. Food , clothes and nature, these three things made my first trip to Taiwan really memorable. Janice with her food during one of her shopping spree
