IJM Land's Bandar Rimbayu "Share Your Love" Weekend It was a beautiful weekend over at IJM Land's Bandar Rimbayu last weekend, which saw more than 2000 visitors participating in the "Share Your Love" with IJM Land Bandar Rimbayu event . Love is in the air, and the activities held throughout the 2 days incorporated the "love" and wedding theme. Food makes the world go round. Believe me when I say this, as nothing connects friends and families closer than food, even more than the latest spate of any social media platform or mobile chat apps. Being a family man, with two kids constantly fighting for attention and whatnots, it's always during meal times that we have a sense of togetherness and calm. Now I'm guilty of not pampering my mother enough, even after all the sacrifices she has done in bringing me up all these years. So there I was watching over the two babies, Karlson and Martin on a weekend morning . Being so caught up with the #cafehoppingmalaysia cafe reviews everyday, I've barely had time to actually laze around with these two kids. Early this month, it was my dad's birthday and he so happened to be with us in KL, hence we brought him out for a nice Bak Kut Teh dinner at Chuan Kee Restaurant along Jalan Genting Klang before surprising him with a simple birthday cake at home. It was a nice dinner, which I hoped that will make daddy happy.  Happy Birthday Dad !

This year's Mother's Day was spent back in Penang, where I treated my mum and dad to a nice simple dinner over at Sushi King All Season Place. The eatery was a stone's throw away from the family home, and this time around we had baby Martin with us. Gone were the days where Baby Martin had this toothless grin, when a couple of months back he grew his first tooth. Subsequently a couple of teeth appeared, amidst cranky behavior, always finding things to bite, and fussiness. This will be another post showcasing my mother's delicious home cooking. Honestly, I can never get enough of her cooking. Over the past weekend, I've had the chance to taste some more of the good stuff when I returned back to my hometown Penang. This round, the cooking happened over at my house, which we were decorating up in preparation for the upcoming big day. Sweet and simple, a table for four. Sakae Sushi, the cooler and some people say better version of Sushi King. There's one in Langkawi too, and since when you're at Langkawi, other than the beaches, and historical spots there isn't much else to explore so that's where we headed to last weekend.
