Old Tricycle Charcoal BBQ Yong Tau Foo opened their newest outlet in Aman Puri, Kepong recently, serving some very nice barbecued meat and yong tau foo for its customers. Just the other day, I had the opportunity to try out a rather new Korean BBQ restaurant located a stone's throw away from KL Festival City Mall, at PV128 Setapak to be exact. Newly set up, with their first outlet located in Solaris Mont Kiara, Sae Ma Eul Korean (새마을 BBQ) Restaurant embodies this open BBQ concept, something different from most Korean restaurants that I've been too, which were usually closed up and located inside air conditioned venues. BBQ Chicken, a rather generic name for a restaurant, located inside Wangsa Walk Mall in Wangsa Maju has a unique way of cooking their chickens. All chicken dishes served from BBQ Chicken is cooked using 100% olive oil . Now this was rather interesting since we all know olive oils are used really sparingly due to its cost, and to deep fry a chicken, BBQ Chicken had to use a lot, hence the slightly higher price. It's supposed to be really healthy oil though.
