Fancy having a barbecue night out with family and friends, beside a pool, at a prominent hotel in the heart of KL? Look no further then. Royale Chulan Bukit Bintang is currently running their Friday Night Poolside Dining BBQ Night Buffet and I had the opportunity to try out all the good meat a couple of weeks back. Read on.

Poolside View

Dining on barbecued offerings by the pool is a good feeling. Great ambiance, the water does have a rather calming effect. A walk around the buffet line, and I spotted my favourite roasted beef and lamb as well, not forgetting chicken and some grilled vegetables.

Seafood, Meat & More Meat

It’s called a bbq buffet for a reason, from marinated chicken wings, mixed grilled fishes, seafood and lots of meaty goodies from beef, lamb and even satay. Good stuff, the meat is barbecued on the spot by chefs over a flaming grill.

There are local flavours here as well, from the salad counter, to fruits offerings, cakes and desserts. I’m a personal favourite of the ala-minute pasta counter, especially the carbonara pasta. There’s even an ice kacang counter where we could fill up our ice offering with our favourite sweet toppings.
