Hennessy Artistry Penang May 2013 @ SPICE

Over the last weekend, it was another unique experience for me as I was one of the bloggers invited to party our heart's out over at H-Artistry Penang 2013. This time around, unlike the previous installments of H-Artistry, the super clubbing event was held at PISA or their new name SPICE Penang which was a really huge space to begin with. Check out my H-Artistry Penang 2013 Meet & Greet Session writeup first, which was held on the same morning as the party.

Hennessy was kind enough to allocate each of us with a room in G-Hotel to rest before being whisked via the bus to H-Artistry's venue at SPICE Penang at 6.30pm. Yes, we arrived rather early, as most of the party people only arrived after 10pm. This did not dampen our mood though, as we happily snapped as many photos as we could to remember the night by.

This time around, I brought along Ivan, my brother for him to experience what Hennessy Artistry is all about. It was indeed an interesting experience for the both of us. I was in Penang for last year's edition of H-Artistry as well, so it did not come as a surprise to me at the amount of party-goers that turned up to dance the night away.

Frankly speaking, it has been a while since the last alcoholic party that I have had the opportunity to attend recently, and one of the reasons I am here was because it is Hennessy Artistry! Oh and because I so happen to be in Penang last weekend. This year's edition of H-Artistry will see the hip-hop Hong Kong group 24 Herbs perform alongside DJs Andy Murphy and Nicole Chen.

H-Artistry at SPICE Penang delivered an extraordinary mix of stellar musical acts from across the globe, a trademark H-Artistry atmosphere and a palatable blend of signature Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks: Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger and Hennessy Soda.

Enter the gorgeous host of the night, Julie Woon, who warmed up the crowd with banter and pleasantries, setting the tone for a great night ahead. The night kicked off with 24 Herbs exploding unto the stage with really catchy Cantonese Hip Hop rap. It was indeed a good start as the crowd got into the mood almost immediately. The free-flow Hennessy probably helped a lot in getting the crowd on their feet.

Mid way through the night, we got to listen to the music from electronic violin maestro Dennis Lau as he performed his magic on stage for our enjoyment. It was a pleasant surprise for me as I did not know he will be performing that night. Great performance!

As the night progressed on, we had performances by the artistes, one which I found it rather hard to capture using my poor camera. Nevertheless it was all good though, as the music boomed in the background, hennessy drinks in our hands, and friends all around. I didn't really mind the packed atmosphere at all, as I always think, the more the merrier!

Of course, for the remainder of the night, it was all Hennessy and happy faces as the alcohol level increased. It was a good thing we did not drive there. Transportation via axis were provided that night too, hence minimizing the dangers of party-goers driving while under the influence. Check out a couple more photos I managed to capture that night as below with friends.
