JOM! Experience Penang, My Favourite Island

JOM! Experience Penang, My Favourite Island

Being a Penangite myself, I was really excited when I learnt about the JOM! Experience Penang campaign, which was launched at Pullman Hotel, KL City Centre recently. Given a chance to promote my hometown, the comfy and awesome island of Penang, come let me tell you a story.

If you have not been to Penang before, well you’re seriously missing out on a place full of great attraction spots, from heritage buildings, to quirky street art, diverse landscapes of hills, and the beautiful calming beaches. After so long being confined to our home , why not take this chance to start travelling domestically to Penang. Driving from KL, it’s just a short 3 to 4 hours drive away. Not too long, nor far.

Let There Be FOOD!

Good food and Penang are closely related, with a whole range of delicious street food. What’s your favourite? My personal favourite is the Penang Char Kuey Teow and Laksa. Yum, the flavours are really one to savour and enjoy.

  1. I dunno when it will be safe again to travel - I would love to hop over to Penang, been so many years. The latest is this virus spreading from the Kedah cluster. Sad.
