Did you know it has already been 6 years since the fateful day when the tragedy of our Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH17) happened? It was indeed a shocking day, and I remembered vividly how news of the airplane on a scheduled flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur which was shot down spread like wildfire. Fast forward to today, this blog post will be to share on the completion of a documentary titled “MH17: In Search of Truth”. Intrigued yet? Read on.

A self financed documentary by Vasily Prozorov, a former officer at the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Head of ‘Vasily Prozorov Investigative Center “UkrLeaks” , the production is based on his independent investigation on the MH17 plane crash that took place on 17 July 2014. Check it out below, if you haven’t seen it yet! 

Long story short, the gist of the documentary details the truth of what actually happened that fateful day, and the days before the tragedy. If you didn’t already know, initial reports had the Ukrainian authorities put the blame on the rebels near the crash site who were supposedly backed up by the Russians. But why? 

Vasily Prozorov started this investigation with a few volunteers as he realised the reports published had various inaccuracies inside them. Too many questions remained unanswered, as to who actually masterminded the plane crash? With such a tragedy, and lost of lives, its unthinkable that someone could actually benefit from this.

The horrible truth is, there ARE people who benefitted from the crash. Oh dear. Why were there British Special Services Officers who came to the crash site BEFORE the incident? Who are they? You must check out the documentary to find out the answers behind all these questions. Learn the truth, and don’t only listen to biased reports.

“Many independent investigators found too many inaccuracies in the official statements made by Kiev. Therefore, I began to conduct my own investigation to find out if there were more details excluded in the report,” said Prozorov who had served in the SBU for more than 15 years.

Why didn’t Kiev close the airspace over the conflict zone? What happened to the dispatcher right after the investigation? Who are the people who claimed to be the British special service officers?” Prozorov continued on. 

“So, I believe this documentary will open people’s eyes to things that may never cross their minds before”.
