Dr Zyro Wong’s Oriental Myths & Legends Charity Birthday Celebration
Just last weekend, I was over at Dr Zyro Wong’s Oriental Myths & Legends Charity Birthday Celebration and it was a blast! Happy Birthday Zyro! With over 200 friends, celebrities, media and bloggers in attendance over at Plaza Arcadia Desa Parkcity, the celebrations went from evening till late into the night. Read on.

Elaborate Costumes
Knowing Dr Zyro, he came out decked in various costumes throughout the night. Some were really elaborate. I was glad I came in my CNY red shirt, hence did not feel too out of place amongst the guests that evening. There was a best costume contest, which saw really nice participations from the guests. More than 10 winners won prizes of 2XXL Fei Fei Crab worth RM158. Congratulations to all for being so sporting!

Proceeds from Donations Goes To Charities
What I love about Dr Zyro is his big heart towards giving back to the community. During his 29th Birthday Party, yes, this birthday party, he managed to collect donations of more than RM6,000 (RM3k to the Kiwanis Club of Bangsar, RM1k to Rotary Kasih, RM1k to The Giving Bank and RM1k to Gem & Bread). What a great effort!

Thanks to all the donors, and efforts from Zyro towards achieving this good gesture. “This is a time to celebrate friendships and love, where we come together not only to have fun but can also do something meaningful together”, quoted from Dr Zyro himself that night.

There were lucky draw prizes drawn throughout the night. From travel vouchers, to cosmetics and more, we were all waiting for our luck to come. Who was at the event?
Local and Hong Kong celebrity were there, mingling with us. From Amber Chia, Happy Polla, Xavier (HK), Fara Dolhadi (Asia Got Talent 2019) and prominent businessmen and women i.e. Tan Sri James Tan, Dato' Sri Dzulkarnain, Dato' Sri Steven Tan, Tengku Normah, Dato' Anthony Cheng, Dato' Sri Vincent Tiew and Dato Jovi Heng, Datin Maylene, Datin Geraldine, Prof Coco Alex, it was indeed a good night to socialise.
