Dinner made better with Hennessy V.S.O.P
Held at Skillet, the environment was perfect for an evening of good food, amidst great company. During the dinner, Boissonnet shared his views on the dynamic Hennessy Maison and spoke of the House’s values of savoir-faire, innovation, creation, excellence, legacy, and sustainable development. Boissonnet also spoke passionately about Hennessy X.O, the emblematic icon of the House of Hennessy, which was the main highlight of the evening.

We had a multiple course dinner complete with canapés, amuse bouche, mains and dessert. Each is paired with Hennessy, from the Hesseny V.S.O.P, Hennessy X.O and Hennessy Paradis. Yums.

The term X.O was coined for this very Cognac by Maurice Hennessy in the 19th century, and it was first bottled in 1870 for family and friends. This blend is composed of over 100 eaux-de-vie which has absorbed wood tannins over a lengthy period, forming a uniquely satisfying character, robust and rich with incredible persistence. It has remained unchanged since its creation, yet never ceases to surprise the connoisseur, to whom it reveals more of its multiple facets every time it is tasted.
During the private dinner, we not only got treated to Hennessy V.S.O.P, the finest V.S.O.P cognac with its great harmony and subtle balance, we got to savour the Hennessy Paradis, the rare cognac recognised for its delicate, velvety character and subtle texture.
Having relocated to Cognac when he joined Jas Hennessy & Co in 1998, Boissonnet developed an irresistible interest in explaining the fascinating stages and details of Hennessy's crafts. Today, he relentlessly promotes the pleasures of enjoying Hennessy cognac and its lifestyle.

Born from a family of winegrowers, Boissonnet welcomes and entertains privileged visitors on the Company’s premises and leads Hennessy Academy educational programmes. He also introduces Hennessy to customers and business partners while convincingly represents the Maison in media or public relations events.
