AKASA Cheras South - Lighting Up The Night
A tad late to follow up on this posting. There I was the other night, last weekend to be exact over at Hap Seng Land's AKASA Cheras South to relive the festive reunion with love & happiness. Going with Janice, it was a good night, lots of food, lantern tunnel, Chinese orchestra and even a percussion ensemble performance. We got to check out the show units for their latest units as well!

AKASA Cheras South - Lighting Up The Night |
It was a really family oriented event, one filled with cultural performances. IN fact the moment we arrived there late evening, we were greeted by lots of lanterns, in the form of a lantern tunnel. You know you're at the right place when the lights from the lantern greets you.

Light up together, the theme of the event |

Nice lights, against a backdrop of the dark sky |
In fact, earlier in the evening there was a lantern painting contest for the kids. I saw the end result, and they were just too creative! Have a look below on some of the results.

Loads of activities were planned out throughout the night as well, from 3D pen doodling, and other arts & craft. In fact there was even a workshop on coffee appreciation in addition to its coffee and mooncake pairing. Pretty cool workshop!

Chinese orchestra |

Percussion ensemble performance |
While enjoying the musical performances from the Chinese orchestra and the drums dum dum dum from the percussion ensemble, I did not hesitate to try out the very interesting dessert, Dragon's breath. Comprising of liquid nitrogen doused corn crackers, meringue, and puffed cereal, you won't start breathing fire, but smoke will come out though
 |
Basically, you try this and you start breathing smoke |
 |
Let there be food! |
Of course, while we were there, we took the chance to check out AKASA Cheras South's show units as well. One of the biggest and iconic integrated mix development in Cheras South, by reputable developer Hap Seng Land, it's one of the affordable luxury with first man-made sandy beach pool in Cheras South. Did someone mention sandy beach pool?
