Affordable Sushis & Japanese Food @ Kaizen Sushi
Located in Danau Kota, Setapak, there's a new spot in town to get really affordable, quality and fresh sushi. Kaizen Sushi, where all sushis on their kaiten belt goes for only RM1.90 or RM2.90 per plate. Now that's pretty cool, where even their ala-carte items on the menu is very reasonably priced. I was there last week with other fellow foodies. Have a look at some of the noms we had below.

I'm excited already |
Located just behind Columbia Hospital at Danau Kota, Setapak, Kaizen Sushi is strategically located, with it being filled with young couples, students and families that night when we were there. It's a good thing when you see lots of students in an eatery, because that means the food is affordable! In fact Kaizen Sushi was initially named Sushi-Ya but did a rebranding and reopened just 2 months ago, with even yummier offerings at a low price.

Inari Mentai Sushi - RM2.90 |

Deep fried chicken skin to kick off our feast at Kaizen Sushi |
Picking off the sushis off the kaiten belt is fun, knowing each of it only goes for either Rm1.90 or RM2.90. We had our fill, and tried the ala-carte dishes off their menu, which is very low priced as well. Imagine having Chicken Teriyaki Don at only RM9.90, and you get the idea.

Donmono Set - Chirashi Don - RM16.90 |
The sashimi served were really fresh, which we loved. We had their sashimi, and their Donmono Set Chirashi Don. The pricing from their ala-carte menu isn't off the roof either, rather reasonable if you asked me. Now even a meat lover like myself can get a chance to order these sashimi and enjoy it.

Love this Chawanmushi which goes for only RM3.90 |
There you have it, a more than fair share of your typical Japanese delights from Kaizen Sushi. Head there the next time you're in the vicinity of Setapak, or if you're looking for some really low priced sushis and Japanese cuisine. Totally recommended, no wonder the restaurant is nearly always full.
Chicken Teriyaki Don looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSushi is one of my favorite dish to eat. Will definitely visit Kaizen whenever I have the chance. Something that me and my classmates from Christmas essay discount to look forward too when we visit Danau Kota Setapak.
