Have you heard of Ronald McDonald House Charities Malaysia or RMHC for short? Well, a couple of days back I attended the Angry Birds Movie Charity Screening where children from 10 charity homes from KL were invited to watch The Angry Birds Movie sponsored by McDonald’s & RMHC Malaysia. It was indeed a fun morning for the kids, where life sized characters from Angry Birds and Ronald McDonald himself interacted comically with them.

I'm an Angry Bird fan! |
The Ronald McDonald House Charities Malaysia (RMHC) Angry Birds Movie charity screening was held at TGV One Utama. 10 Charity Homes were present, which literally filled up 1 whole movie hall, with another one reserved for media friends and bloggers. I could say it's a really good move by RMHC to hold a movie charity screening as they managed to group all the children from the homes in one place, for the subsequent cheque presentations to be held.

Ronald McDonald is excited, and so were the kids! |

In the cinema, the children from the homes were beaming with delight, thanks to Ronald McDonald |
A total of 10 homes and orphanages were presented with cheques of RM5,000 each by RMHC, which I believe would be a great help for the children to get their basic necessities. Such a great effort by RMHC. The smiles from every kid present reflected how well the event was co-ordinated. Happy feelings all round, with a happy movie to watch!

Don't you love the Angry Birds? |
The
Angry Birds Movie Special Screening promptly kicked off after a short speech and the cheque presentation. For an animated movie, it made me laugh and smile throughout the movie, and I would think it did the same for everyone present. Such a funny movie, which fit perfectly with the event theme.
The screening event was a success, fun and true to its purpose. For more information on RMHC, do check out their website at
