More Ramadan food previews, and many more to come. I was at Chakri Palace Thai Restaurant's Ramadan buffet last year, and there I was again a couple of weeks back to savour their delicious Thai cuisine yet again. This year, both outlets, the Chakri Palace Royal Suria KLCC and Chakri Thai Cuisine Pavilion KL will be having their buffet spread for diners to enjoy.

This Ramadan, Chakri will be rotating 3 different menus throughout, so you can be sure there will not be any repeat should you want to dine there every week. Lots of appetizer, salad, main dishes, noodles, grilled items, dessert and drinks to indulge in, beginning with the delectable signature Thai Mieng Kam, pictures in first picture above. 

Mee Krob - Thai Crispy Fried Noodle

We got to try this very unique Thai Crispy Fried Noodle, Mee Krob. It was indeed crispy, with a sticky sweetness flavour. Lots of other Thai cuisine adorn the buffet spread from mains to starters such as shrimp cracker, deep fried tofu, samosa, vegetable rolls, kurma and jeluk.

Prawn with butter sauce

The mains consists of hot offerings such as Prawn with Butter Sauce, Massaman Beef, Stir Fried Beancurd with Thai Basil Leaves and Fresh Chilli, Lamb with Black Pepper Sauce, Prawn with Butter Sauce, Chicken Kapitan, Stir Fried Mee Hoon, and Nasi Briyani. Choose your favourite.

I did feel it was pretty good, with some other dishes I did not share here because I don't feel the need to overload this post with pictures. You can always check out my FB page for complete photos of every dish served. I do like the Chicken Kapitan, done just right. Up next, my favourite, the Mango Sticky rice and more.

My favourite that night will have to be the Mango Sticky Rice. It may be the fact that the mangoes were really sweet, going well with the green sticky rice and santan. Don't forget to try out their Pumpkin custard, Mixed Fruit, Black Bean in Coconut Syrup, Steamed Sweet Tapioca, Cakes and more.

The buffet is priced at RM91.90 per adult (RM47.90 for children between 6-12 years old, senior citizen above 56 years old). Get Early Bird RM20 nett discount by confirming your reservation from 10 May till 9 June 2016.
