Japanese Soft Serve Ice Cream & Desserts @ P.S. Tokyo, SS2 Petaling Jaya
I had one of the best soft serve ice cream in town recently, and when I said it's good, the yummy-licious sweet delights do not disappoint. Truly enjoyed each of the Japanese soft serve ice cream that was served at P.S Tokyo, SS2 Petaling Jaya the other day with other fellow foodies.

Cozy cafe serving delicious soft serve ice cream |
Located along the busy streets of SS2 Petaling Jaya, P.S. Tokyo is located on the first floor, so be sure to look out for it. The cafe has this minimalist industrial look and feel, with tables and chairs mimicking a factory's canteen of sorts.
Print out your Instagram pictures (with #PSTokyo hashtags) for free! |
Upon entering the cafe, we were presented with a rather large Instagram wall, where patrons to P.S. Tokyo can print out their Instagram pictures (after hash-tagging #PSTokyo) immediately at the complimentary printer station. I find this to be sure cool, one facility everyone should take advantage of when they dine at P.S. Tokyo
Three signature flavours of their soft serve ice cream (Match, Hojicha and Milk - Regular size rm9.90, Mini size rm6.90) |
Why soft serve ice cream are nice and what makes it different in my books? Well for starters, they are softer and lighter than regular ice cream as a result of air being introduced during freezing, or at least that's what I was told. Sold commercially since the late 1930s, soft serve ice cream is generally lower in milk-fat than ice cream, and the amount of air alters the taste of the finished product
With extra toppings, Perfecto popcorn pictured above |
We tried three of P.S. Tokyo's signature flavours that afternoon, namely the Match, Hojicha and Milk flavours. I personal love the Milk flavour which tastes like vanilla on first 'lick', but after a couple more, you start to really enjoy the milky taste and essence. Great stuff! For RM3 extra topping each, you get to choose from various toppings such as Perfecto popcorn, cornflake and so much more.
Matcha tea - RM6.90 |
Cappucino - RM7 |
On top of the delectable Japanese soft serve ice cream, P.S. Tokyo do serve some really nice tea, coffee and desserts as well in the form of delicious cakes. They have all the usual suspects, from espressos, long black, latter to cappucinos, to Matcha, Hojicha and Genmaicha tea.
Various delicious cakes to indulge in, at P.S. Tokyo |
Be spoilt for choices at P.S. Tokyo with their delectably-crafted cakes, including the soft creamy Original Tofu Cheese Cake and fragrant Sesame Tofu Cheese Cake (RM12.90 each), Rosy Mango (RM13.90 per slice), Hummingbird Cake (RM13.90), Matcha Milk Chocolate Cake (RM13.90) and a couple more others.
Look out unto the busy streets of SS2 while enjoying your ice cream |
Can you see my Instagram shot? |
Love the complimentary ‘#Hash It, Print It’ printing services, where everyone can print out their favourite moments and keep the instant photo print. Patrons just need to upload photo to their instagram with hashtag #pstokyo and can self-collect the photos few minutes later. Have you gone to P.S. Tokyo yet? If not, head on there today itself and enjoy their Japanese Soft Serve Ice Cream & Desserts !
