New Limited Time Promotional Menu @ Outback Steakhouse Malaysia

Now I've always liked Outback Steakhouse, for their delectable meaty dishes, as well as the fried mushrooms and dessert. This time around I was back at their Nu Sentral outlet to try out their new limited time promotional menu which included a mix of mains, salads, and drinks. Check out what they have to offer below.

New Limited Time Promotional Menu @ Outback Steakhouse Malaysia - Shredded BBQ Stack (RM24.95)

Inspired by the hit movie Crocodile Dundee, Outback Steakhouse was conceptualized as an American outlet with an Australian theme. When I was there that evening, I noticed the crowd was a mix, locals, working folks and families dining. Located at the lower ground floor of Nu Sentral mall, the 150-seater restaurant is decked in warm contemporary wood furnishing offering diners a sumptuous perspective of al Fresco dining.

Shredded BBQ Stack (RM24.95)

Shown in picture above is their Shredded BBQ Stack. A perfect starter for 'carnivores' like myself, this appetizer comes in rather huge bite-sized pieces of tasty and tender shredded BBQ beef on homemade tortilla chips. Topped with pico de gallo, pickled cucumber and cilantro, it has that juicy combination of flavours to tantalize your tastebuds.

Chicken and Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie (RM34.95)

Now I know this dish as its named elsewhere as the 'surf and turf'. Here at Outback Steakhouse they named it the Chicken and Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie. A classic dish of grilled chicken breast paired with succulent grilled shrimp, served on a bed of rice (which was really tasty by the way), this dish goes well for those who do not take beef. The shrimps and chicken is seared over an open flame oak fire, seasoned with their uniquely crafted Outback seafood seasoning.

Black Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye (RM59.95 8 oz. ; RM69.95 10 oz.)

My favourite that night, as I do love a good piece of steak, especially ribeye. If in doubt, always go for the ribeye, as it always satisfy, with the soft fatty bits complementing the textured part of the steak. All beef served at Outback Steakhouse are grain-fed, hence the meat tastes better, and has a softer texture. Served with grilled asparagus, loaded baked potato and balsamic sauce drizzled beautifully around the dish, this seared peppercorn crusted ribeye accompanied with peppercorn cream sauce went really well with my palate. I could have all 10oz to myself!

Peanut Butter Pie (RM17.95)

If you are a fan of peanut butter, then you must try their Peanut Butter Pie. It comes in a rather huge serving, one full slice, topped with chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings and whipped cream. It's really rich in flavour, a tad too rich for my tastebuds, hence I could not finish it alone. Do order it to share, even three diners can share one of this!

Outback Steakhouse Malaysia implemented their priority card which is available for purchase. Frequent Outback Steakhouse's customers who purchase the Priority Card get to enjoy these exclusive deals below:

  1. Been around for a long time now, always saw it as I used to stay in hotels in that area - like the one where you dropped by to see me the first time we met...but somehow, I never dropped by to check it out. Next time, perhaps...
