Weekend Brunch Menu @ Signature By The Hill, First Avenue
I've always liked dining at Signature By The Hill, First Avenue over at The Roof as the ambiance and view is top notch, coupled with some very nice western fare. They have recently re-activated their weekend brunch menu for this season, and there I was last weekend to sample what they have to offer. Check out on some of the noms we had for brunch that Saturday morning.

Other diners having a great brunch that morning |
Arriving at the restaurant just in time for their brunch, we scoured through the menu. Their English Breakfast, Big Breakfast set and omelettes are highly recommended and happened to be their top sellers. We were in the mood to try out something else other than the usual breakfast sets though, hence we went ahead to order their Belgian Tower, Eggs Benedict, the Giant Meatball "Bomb" Linguine, and the Grilled Salmon.
Belgian Tower - RM15 |
When our Belgian Tower was served, I was surprised by the sheer size of it. It did indeed look its part towering high on the plate it came with. A tower of fruits and waffle (I counted four thick waffle layers) topped up with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, served with ice-cream on the side. This is a dish to be shared for sure.
Eggs Benedict - RM18 |
Signature is indeed very generous with the ingredients used in all their dishes, as can be seen from the Eggs Benedict shown above. We had these perfectly made poached eggs on toast with hollandaise sauce hidden under multiple slabs of smoked salmon. This dish came with a choice of either salmon or sliced turkey ham but we chose the salmon, lots and lots of it.
Grilled Salmon - RM48 |
If one salmon dish doesn't satisfy your cravings, then go for their standalone Grilled Salmon dish. Grilled then baked in a special house batter and served with asparagus, Romesco sauce and pumpkin mash, the grilled salmon did indeed satisfy. Love the flaking of the meat, and sweetness of the salmon fish.
Giant Meatball "Bomb" Linguine - RM39 |
We wanted to try something different, something unique, and what can be more special than the Giant Meatball "Bomb" Linguine. Ground Australian rib eye is shaped into a huge monster meatball stuffed with egg. Served on a bed of linguine and sauteed in Roma tomato sauce, it's indeed a "giant" dish, good for 2 - 3 persons if you asked me.
My favourite Hot Chocolate - RM13 |
To go with all that good food, I had it with my all time favourite Hot Chocolate. Overall it's a good weekend brunch at Signature by The Hill, First Avenue with a sprawling space featuring glass panels overlooking PJ’s grid-like views below. Do drop by this coming weekend with loved ones, families and friends and enjoy a great brunch with them.
Their Egg Benedict sure looks different from the usual...
