World Marketing Summit 2013 - A Global Meet
A rather major global event occurred a couple of weeks back, aptly named the World Marketing Summit 2013 as delegates worldwide congregate at Putrajaya for a common purpose. With a tagline that reads "Creating A Better World Through Marketing", it's the brainchild of leading marketing guru Professor Philip
Kotler, aiming to elevate marketing from the ranks of a corporate business
tool to one that can also deliver meaningful social, environmental and

World Marketing Summit Malaysia 2013 was set out to meet two goals. Firstly it will provide a roadmap on how to meet the 8 UN MDGs, resulting in a signed declaration charting marketing’s role in improving 8 billion lives. Secondly, this is a gathering and collective representation of the world’s best marketeers, sharing insights and case studies of how purpose can be injected in to a company’s DNA, elevating consumer trust in turn reducing marketing investment and maintaining the bottom-line.
