iBilik Rooms For Rent

Now I'm sure you have seen these banners or read about iBilik room renting websites around the blogosphere as well as along the streets of Malaysia. Today, it's my turn to do a short writeup for this website. No longer do we have to go around searching for notices pasted along the roadside, or in 7-11 notice boards. A single click to the website and you'll get more than 100,000 online listings across Malaysia, Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Bangsar, Cheras, Setapak, Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, and Penang.

Finding a room for rent shouldn't be a hassle, and with iBilik's innovative website which is categorized by region and town, it is fairly easy to get your dream room. It doesn't really matter if it's for short or long term, get your rooms from iBilik easily.

An advert sample in iBilik

One just had to search for their rooms online, where photos, descriptions, monthly rental and even specific preferences are listed out. A simple click on the "Contact" button and the person advertising it would get notified immediately. Personally I would have preferred if the contact of the room owner was published in the ad itself, but I guess this system should work too.

iBilik has been really aggresive in getting their website out to the general public, one of it would be through this blog, and some others especially the ones on taxi boots were rather interesting. So the next time you are tail gating a taxi in Malaysia and you notice this banner, do remember that you saw it over here in Isaactan.net too!

Overall, I wont's go to the extent as saying this is the "jobstreet" of room rentals, but it is a good start. iBilik comes off as being very comprehensive and covers nearly the whole nation. I would still love to have the contacts of the owners listed together with the room description though.
