Thank God It's Friday! Each time when Friday, these words come to mind.
TGI Friday's an international franchise focusing on casual dining serving mouthwatering American classic dishes, from appetizers to memorable burgers and delicious desserts. I happen to be at one of their branches in Wangsa Walk the other day for a fellow colleague's farewell dinner.

This wasn't my first time here, so I roughly knew what to expect. I haven't tried all the dishes yet though, and since we were in a group, I got to have a sampling of other dishes ordered by my colleagues. TGI Friday's dishes have always been in "American" sizes, meaning if you're not a big eater, then you might not be able to finish the serving because it's really huge. Anyway do check out some of the dishes we ordered that night.

| #1 Grilled Lamb: Succulent marinated grilled lamb, served with seasonal vegetables and our crispy fries. |

| #2 Fish and Chips: Three portions of fish filet battered and fried to golden brown. Served with crispy fries and tartar sauce. | |

| #3 Chicken and Shrimp Diablo: Tender, seasoned chicken and shrimp sautéed in olive oil, then blended in a fiery tomato Diablo sauce. Served on linguine pasta with freshly-grated Parmesan cheese. |

| #4 A vegetarian special made dish for my colleague. |

| #5 Chicken Fingers: Hand-battered chicken tenders, golden fried and served with crispy fries. Honey Mustard dressing for dipping. |

| #6 Tennessee Steak: A thick 10-oz. Australian chilled air flown grain-fed steak, seared and chargrilled to ideal tenderness. Served with seasonal vegetables, cheddar cheese mashed potatoes and Tennessee sauce. |
Of course, after a heavy meal like this, there must be desserts to sweeten our taste buds. There was something new on the menu called Desserts Mini, and it does look cute, coming in these small cups. Check them out below and tell me if they don't look cute to you.

As for me, I ordered my all time favourite dessert from TGI Friday's. It was none other than the delicious, the calories laden, Friday's Sundae! I was a bit disappointed with the lack of passion put into the preparation for my favourite dessert this time around. It had too little caramel sauce!

Overall, it was a really hearty meal. I did not take down the prices of each dishes because it was my ex-boss's treat. Thank you Shanti! Now who doesn't love getting treated, especially with such delicious food.

I'm a really big eater, so the portions don't really faze me! LMAO! It depends on the franchise, some of their meals, can't be made to order. Like I like my burger medium, but SOME franchises, say they can't make it to order. But the one in One Utama, does it perfectly to my liking. The one in Curve doesn't. So I'm picky when I go to eat at TGIF's. ;)
