Last weekend, I so happened to be up in Genting Highlands when I saw some flyers and banners indicating that there were going to be some fireworks display in conjunction with Labour Day. The time indicated on the banners was 8pm, and it was already 7.45pm when I saw it. My heart sank as I knew I wasn't going to make it in time to the outdoor theme park to catch it.

I immediately rushed to Resorts World Genting, but unfortunately halfway up the escalator heading there, the fireworks started. "Pom, pom, pom...", well at least that's what I think it sounds like. Luckily I managed to find an open window to snap a few photos.
Bear with me when you see the photos below. It did not turn out as well as I wanted it to be. Instead of having beautiful photos of fireworks, I got some rather artistic bright dazzle of colours. Just to share with all of you, check it out below!

The fireworks display lasted a good 10 minutes or so and it lit up the sky with beautiful colours as well as sound. Good job Genting! Now if only you could let me win more in the casinos!
i will never go to Genting for New Year eve anymore coz last year raining, so no firework. Genting's weather is too damp and always raining :(
ReplyDeleteShould have used long shutter for good fireworks photography :) A steady hand and low ISO should be chosen :)
ReplyDeleteBro I think you use "Firework setting" right? Errr.. try to use auto mode to shoot.. Perhaps you can get something better. Cos if you use Firework setting, your hand cannot be shaky.

ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. If you stay around bukit jalil/seri Petaling area you will be able to see the fireworks often espeially those from the stadium or Mines
