Well, today's the day a few of us bloggers decide to gather in Setapak for dinner. Thanks to Simon Har for organizing it, 12 of us managed to meet up at this quaint little Malay Restaurant named De' Warung over in Setapak. Dinner was supposed to start at 7pm, but due to some latecomers (me!) we only managed to get every dish ordered and kicked off dinner by 8pm.

Well, it was my first time over at De' Warung, as such I did not have much of an expectation. I think the workers weren't really used to serving big groups of customers as I noticed the orders were kind of mixed up. After some minor confusion upon ordering, we managed to cool down and started to make some happy noise! This is what you get when you gather a bunch of like minded bloggers together, you get lots of noises!

There were set meals going for RM8.90 for a main course, with a choice of kuihs, 2 sticks of satay or otak otak, chicken or fish, and a bowl of soup. This was rather reasonable, as I went ahead to order the set meal. Check it out below.

The ambiance for the place was rather good, probably because there were no other customers tonight! We had the whole place to ourselves and it was a great feeling. Just check out the spread of food that arrived on our table below.

The food was okay, not exceptional though, just your average tasting nasi lemak and chicken, fish, etc. Would I come back here? Probably not. Well, any blogger's gathering wouldn't be complete without a group picture of us. At the end of our meal, we managed to catch a quick photo. Check us out below!
Here's to a great dinner with some really friendly and happening bloggers. May there be more gatherings and outings for us to share knowledge next round. It was a good night, and I'm really glad to be able to meet up with all of you guys!

Food looks really good...the nyonya kuih looks so lemak - I would want to eat there.As for the service,biasalah tu... Those people work at a snail's pace...so lemah lembut.
