Coffee Chemistry Cafe, also known as CCC for short. I've already seen numerous blog posts and reviews on this chic looking cafe located inside Sunway Giza Mall, but have not personally tried the food there. Not until last Sunday when together with some of the guys, we met up there for a short lunch session.

CCC or Cubic Platforms located on the 1st floor C-3A-1, Sunway Giza Mall |

It was my first time to
Sunway Giza Mall as well, and I do find the building like shops very unique. We have rows of "buildings" inside the big building mall. CCC is located right above
Movida bar on the 1st floor.

Comfortable ambience |
Upon entering the cafe, it striked me that the place actually doubles up as a mobile phone shop with HTC as its main brand. I was informed by Henry Lee that this is a new concept store where we can dine while checking out the latest mobile offerings from HTC. Check out the HTC themed corner of the cafe below.

Smartphones anyone? |

Some soft toys for the ladies? |
So there we were, 5 of us cool dudes, namely Henry Lee, Kian Fai, Jayren, Elwyn and I. We promptly ordered our meal, and because I was new to this cafe, Henry suggested the Beef Bacon Fried Rice. Check out below on the food that we had that day. It was a very good meal as I missed breakfast and everything seems to taste so good.
|
Mocha - RM 7.90 |
|
Hazelnut Latte - RM 9.50 |
|
Specialty Fried Beef Bacon Rice - RM 10.90 |
|
Homemade Beef Puff Pie - RM 8.50 |
|
Beef Bacon Handroll - RM 5.50 |
|
Cream Pumpkin Chicken Rice - RM 11.90 |
|
The Menu |
The food was delicious to say the least, with the beef bacon fried rice being really savoury, while the cream pumpkin chicken rice had a sweet tinge to it. I especially loved the beef bacons. Overall a good meal, albeit with a slightly high price, but it's the company that counts right? Here's to more "makan makan" session!

ReplyDeleteheard so much about this place. Never been there yet.

ReplyDeleteI want that green android soft toy! So cute && The rice's portion seems small to me :S
ReplyDeleteEngtaukia, Yup, it looked really similar doesnt it. The taste also not bad. if only it had been cheaper. Wahahaha
ReplyDeleteNava, Hie! Thanks for dropping by my blog. Don't worry, they have a lot of other dishes other than beef. It so happened we ordered the same food. :)
ReplyDeleteSTP, you're right, you can't imagine how many blog reviews I have seen of this place. Which made me even more interested to try it once. :) I'm one of the slower ones. It is rather expensive, and portion not that big. Delicious though.
ReplyDeleteCW, Cool, how do you define tasting awkward? Not enough taste in it? It's weird, I find the staff ok, but one of my other friend who went before told me the staffs weren't that good. Weird.
ReplyDeleteClaire, Hie! I'm always glad to see you dropping by my blog. I'm sorry, but what's tarn?
ReplyDeleteSmallKucing, me neither, that was my virgin trip there. But no regrets. :)
ReplyDeleteTekkaus, Wahaha, yup, it's coffee bean price. :P
ReplyDeleteTekkaus, Movida? Lol, I plan to go there tomorrow night. It seems they have a 1st anniversary celebration or something. Maybe just drop by and see. Similar to you, I've yet to visit Movida
ReplyDeleteHilda, for a moment there, I thought you said, "I have that soft toy!" coz I saw in some old pictures of bloggers going there, each of them was carrying that soft toy.
ReplyDeleteI mentioned to Henry, and Jayren the portions were small, but got shot down telling me I have a big stomach instead. LOL.
