A Short Visit To Thean Hou Temple

Blue Monday. Very aptly named as I'm currently having the flu. Sneezing and coughing the whole day. But I already planned to have a visit to Thean Hou Temple today, so by hook or by crook I'll get there. I don't like not getting my plans done.

It was drizzling with short burst of rain after work, I knew there would be a hell of a jam going to Midvalley area, but my determination to stick to my plan was strong. And so it began, picked up my gf from Jelatek LRT, and from then forth was stuck in the traffic jam for 1 and a half hour all the way to my destination.

Finally! That's the thought that burst through my mind when we reached the temple. Oh, I didn't tell the reason I'm coming here yet, did I? Well, the aim is to check out the temple that my wife to be and I will be registering our marriage (ROM for short). It was dark already that time so just check out the temple's photo I managed to pull off the net.

It is a very beautiful place with cool Chinese temple design arches and all. Couples here, after registering their marriages here will proceed for a photography session around the temple's scenic landscape. That's my plan too I guess, if we finally end up doing our ROM here.

That's that. Achieved my aim of visiting the temple tonight, even though I have to brave the jam under the heavy rain, and the sniffles of my flu. It was another 1 hour drive back home where I dropped by Jaya Jusco Wangsa Maju to have dinner and stock up on my OATS! Yep, you heard me right, the 8 packets of oats I bought less than a week ago, I've diligently taken it daily for the sake of my well rounded tummy and health.

My dinner for the night wasn't that healthy though. We ate at the food court. Oh well, after my hard work driving, I get to indulge a bit don't I. Pics as below.

Got to go rest now. Hopefully by the time I'm awake tomorrow, my flu will be gone.

Till then..
