Here's a pretty place to have your weekend lunch buffet at, with a view of the skyline. Just a couple of weeks back, I had the opportunity to dine over at Chakri Palace Sky View Dorsett Hotel Hartamas to savour what they had to offer for their “Lunch Buffet on Saturday’s” promo.

Even though it’s stated Saturday, the lunch buffet is available on both Saturdays and Sundays, every weekend at their 27th floor rooftop restaurant.

The buffet spread consisted of some of my favourite Thai cuisine, from the local ulam-ulam and herbs, to Thai Mango Salad, Thai Papaya salad, famous thai appetizer with seven ingredients “Mieng Kam”, Samosa, Crispy Thai Spring Rolls, Thai Crispy Fried Noodles and many more.

There’s even a section for some DIY soup and noodles. The Tomyum soup here is a must try dish, so be sure to grab some when you’re dining here.

For the main course, we got to try out Thai cuisine selections such as stir fried squid, Tauhu with basil, crispy chicken in mango sauce, char kuey teow with generous servings of prawns, and more. Good stuff.

Indulge in their sweet famous Thai Desserts, namely the Red Ruby Waterchestnut. I for one love this dessert, especially the ones at Chakri Palace.
