Let the Food Hunt Begin!
Food Stop #1 Nam Heong Ipoh
Location: Lot 56(P) & 59(P), Level CC
Nam Heong is a restaurant that has made a name for itself in Malaysia, serving timeless flavours of Ipoh. Famous for its authentic Ipoh cuisine, be sure to try out their favourites, from chicken hor fun, prawn noodles to those yummy egg custards aka egg tarts! Spoilt for choices, they have a variety of rice and noodles dishes as well to pick from. We were stuffed even before our next stop on our food hunt!

Food Stop #2 Goku Raku Ramen
Lot 26 & 27, Level 2
My favourite Japanese noms other than sashimis would definitely be Ramens. Over at Goku Raku Ramen, choose from a soup base of delicious Tonkatsu ramens or the Shoyu based ones. With generous servings on top, from Japanese char siew, spring onions, fungus, add some of those yummy eggs and you're good to go! Don't forget to try their Spicy Gyoza and Niko Dango (minced pork meatballs) when you're dining there. Thumbs up to the food served at Goku Raku Ramen.

Food Stop #3 Warung Mama
For some local flavours and specialties, head on over to Warung Mama. The pricing of the food here won't break the bank, and you'll find that their Nasi Kukus Ayam Goreng Berempah and Nasi Kukus Daging Masak Hitam would satisfy even the most discerning diner. We even tried their Mama Mi Kari, flavourful, thick curry gravy making up a good heartwarming dish.

Food Stop #4 Molten Chocolate Cafe
Dessert lovers unite! Stop by at Molten Chocolate Cafe to savour some of the nicest looking chocolatey desserts I've seen in a while. From beautifully plated Sizzling Waffle, to Brownies Crepe with Ice Cream, there's bound to be some sweet noms for all.

Food Stop #5 Seaweed Club
When a restaurant calls itself Seaweed Club, you know you're bound to get a mix of healthy seaweed dishes. I was a tad apprehensive at first, but upon seeing and savouring those delicious Seaweed Popiahs, its good to know they serve a number of other dishes. Do try out their Chili Chicken Dry Misuah, Chicken Pumpkin Porridge and delicacies such as Nyonya Kuih Pie Tee and Potato Salad Ice Cream as well.

The brownie crepes so tempting... I can feel my sugar level increase liaw! HAHAHA
ReplyDeleteLots of good food here, I know...but I've never been there. Nobody ever took me there. *sulk...sulk* I stayed at a hotel at Kelana Jaya right across the road but there was no way I could walk across the super busy highway to go there. Another time perhaps...if some kind soul will take me there. *hint...hint*
