McDonald’s Malaysia New Menu Offerings This Ramadan

McDonald’s Malaysia New Menu Offerings This Ramadan

This Ramadan, McDonald’s Malaysia launched two new exclusive offerings on their menu, the all-new Nasi McD as well as the return of our favourite Chicken Foldover (with an updated taste). I was at their launch the other day, and my, it felt good savouring these two new offerings on top of some other crowd favourites, the D24 Durian McFlurry, and Banana Pie! Good stuff, read on below.

Rice Lovers, Go Try Out The Nasi McD!

Fragrant rice, with nice curry sauce, the Nasi McD is paired with McDonald’s delicious spicy Ayam Goreng McD. Frankly I was a tad apprehensive when trying it for the first time, as we Malaysians are very picky with our rice dishes. It turned out really well, as the new curry sauce had just the amount of spiciness in it, coupled with the Ayam Goreng McD, available with a choice of 1 or 2 pcs, it was a satisfying meal on its own.

The set came with a medium coleslaw (I’m intrigued, as usually I find it hard pressed to find any coleslaw at McD), and a medium Iced Lemon Tea. The perfect meal to break fast with this coming Ramadan.

Chicken Foldover for that Warm Satisfying Bite

Unlike the previous Chicken Foldover of old, this time around, McDonald’s Malaysia re-introduced this crowd favourite with an all new special sauce. It did take some getting used to, but after the initial bite into that perfectly grilled, juicy chicken patties, topped with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, it’s all good! It’s all wrapped in a warm toasted flatbread, served with French fries and Iced Lemon Tea on the side.

D24 Durian McFlurry - My Favourite!

Bring back the good stuff, namely the D24 Durian McFlurry! Now I’m a big fan of this, but felt the previous iteration a tad sweet for my liking. This time around, it is actually full of yums, sweet, yet so delicious. One D24 Durian McFlurry is not enough, especially if its being shared with family and friends, so remember to get more when sharing! Don’t forget to pair your meal with the re-introduced Banana Pie as well.

  1. I sure would love to try that rice. I wonder if they have it at the sole outlet here.
