Dinosaurs Come Alive @ Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya!
It’s the school holidays this week! What are your kids up to? Just last weekend, with the kids in tow, both the Mrs and I headed over to WCT Malls: Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya as we heard there will be dinosaurs there! True to form, dinosaurs did roam the mall last weekend. In fact they will be there from 22nd March to 7th April 2019. Dinosaurs Alive, we were in for a treat the moment we arrived at the mall. It was an immersive experience, discovering dinosaurs from the get go. In fact the moment we entered the mall, we were already greeted by seven live-sized animatronic dinosaurs including iconic species such as Tyrannosaurus (T-Rex) and Memenchisaurus located at the Boulevard in level G, as well as Ankylosaurus, Velociraptor, Parasaurolophus and non-animatronic dinosaurs such as Parasaurolophus and Protoceratop located at Upper Atrium in level UG.

Talk about excitement, both Martin and Karlson were all smiles! The perfect spot to bring the family this school holidays. Child friendly activities were held throughout the space, from Fossil Dive, Dinosaurs Origami Workshop, Button Badge Colouring, Ark Park, Augmented Reality Dinosaurs, Dino Run, to Dino Rides. We tried each of the activities, and it was both a learning experience and a fun bonding session with the kids, all in one!

The virtual reality set up, or augmented reality dinosaurs really took technology to the kids, and they soaked in all of it with glee! We were glad there were arts and crafts activities as well, in the form of the Dinosaurs Origami Workshop and Button Badge Colouring.

There’s even a 25 minute thrilling live performances with Triceratops, T-Rex and Velociraptor on weekends. Aptly named the Living Dinosaurs Live Show, we see these dinosaurs literally come to live, right in front of our eyes. Loved how the actors were performing during the live show.
