Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar’s Prosperity New Year set menu was launched on 15/11/2018 till 19/02/2019, it will be served for lunch and dinner at Oriental Chinese Cuisine, featuring dishes that are believed to bring health, wealth and happiness for the New Year.

The pricing for the set menus range from RM1298, RM1598 to RM1998 nett each. Each set features six courses of noms, including the traditional Poon Hooi as well! Indulge in quality, luxurious offerings. The food here is made from fresh, high quality halal ingredients.
Begin the sumptuous feast by tossing the Yee Sang which symbolizes tossing up good fortune and abundance of wealth and long life. We had the Japanese Scallop Snow Pear Yee Sang and it is indeed a refreshing start to the meal. The yee sang is also available as an ala carte order at RM108 for a full portion.

The set comes with a “Poon Choi” and few more mouth-watering festive dishes such as double boiled soup, Steamed Pearl Fresh Tiger Grouper with Superior Soy Sauce, Waxed Duck Rice, Double Boiled Bird Nest Dessert and last but not least, a Homemade Carp Fish Nian Gao which is a must have during Chinese New Year.

A special mention has to be given for the Poon Choi, there are three layers of ingredients in Poon Choi, comprising seafood, meat and vegetables, braised in a supreme sauce which include abalones, sea cucumber, scallops, fish maw, prawns, mushrooms, roast duck, waxed and roasted duck, smoked oysters, broccoli and Chinese cabbage, it’s a scrumptious dish that entices everyone to dig in.
Chinese New Year will not be complete without the tossing of Snow Pear Yee Sang which comes in the options of salmon, Japanese scallops, abalone or a vegetarian version.
