Cafe hopping to a new level, for the discerning watch enthusiast or those who just like the finer things in life, we have Sevenfriday Space, located right smack in the middle of the city. Sevenfriday Space by Red Army Watches, I had the opportunity to sample their fares, from exquisite dessert to premium coffee drinks, and it was good! Read on.

The latest hot spot in town, Robinsons, and Sevenfriday is right inside. Cafe hopping made easy. The perfect venue to chill on a weekend with friends, Sevenfriday Space by Red Army Watches is very unique in the sense that we get to socialise while sipping and drinking some really good premium coffee. When I was there, I tried out their new offerings, namely the Malaysian Cendol Latte, Dirty Latte, and the Burnt Cheesecake with Sorbet. How was it?

Malaysian Cendol Latte

So special, I wouldn’t have thought of combining the rich ‘Gula Melaka’, with cendol in a cup of latte coffee. Well that was exactly what we had, the Malaysian Cendol Latte where we even had the nostalgic red bean ‘aiskrim potting’ floating in the cup! The layers of Malaysian flavours is just too yummy, combined with the familiar espresso taste we are all used to. Good stuff!

Dirty Latte

Another special premium coffee drink provided at Sevenfriday Space, the dirty latte is a mix of cold milk with espresso. The moment the cold milk is poured in, we have that dirty drink look that forms on top of the glass. No spoons provided, why? Well, we were told the good people from Sevenfriday Space wanted us to really appreciate the different flavours with each sip of the dirty latte. I like it.

Burnt Cheesecake with Sorbet

I’m an extremely big fan of cheesecakes, and here I think I’ve found my favourite! An innovative culinary take on the popular classic dessert, the Burnt Cheesecake comes with accompanying sorbet.. I love the cheesecake! It’s neither too sweet, nor too overpowering, just nice, creamy, with perfectly caramelised edges. I would definitely come back here again, if just to have another go at their Burnt Cheesecake with Sorbet.

Known for their specialty coffee sourced from numerous famous roasters around the world, namely Simple Kaffa, Padre and Fuglen, Sevenfriday Space also stays true to their Malaysian roots by curating from local roasters like Artisan Roast, Seraph Awaken and also Supernormal Coffee Roasters. As such, customers can expect quality hand brewed coffee with just the perfect amount of flavour while letting their taste buds to truly “travel the world”.

We were introduced to the Head Barista of Sevenfriday Space, Kevin Justin Chai, and he did an extremely good job of explaining to us the details put into each drinks served. Coffee lovers can choose from a list of single-origin coffees or even award-winning roasts, boasting a wide range of selection.

As a luxury accessory brand itself, Sevenfriday Space allows visitors to appreciate, explore and learn more about Sevenfriday’s range of industry-themed timepieces, accessories, sunglasses and more, within their space spanning over 750 sqft and located on Level 2 of Robinsons at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. My first thoughts when I was there, “this would be a really good venue for watch enthusiasts to group up and have their events!”
