I was at the launch event, exciting times. A dedicated local movie channel for fan to enjoy popular Malaysian movies, why didn’t anyone come out with this sooner? Read on for details.

The launch of Dunia Senima was held in style at Fiesta unifi at Alamanda Putrajaya from 28 June to 4 July, a weekend-long event in conjunction with Raya celebrations. unifi customers as well as members of the public joined in the festivities, which showcased the complete range of convergence experience that unifi can offer which includes unifi Home, unifi Wifi, unifi Mobile and unifi TV. The event enables the visitors to fulfill their needs of the latest communication solution and entertainment crave from unifi.

During the event, there was a musical performance as well, by Indonesian singing sensation, Virgoun brought by Pesona HD (Ch. 141), unifi TV's Indonesian entertainment channel. Taking the stage along-side him were local favourites from Sony Music Malaysia, including Dato' AC Mizal, Sufian Suhaimi, Farisha Aisha, Insomniacks and Bahiyya Hanessa.

Dunia Sinema - now available 24-hours a day


Previously offered as a subscription video on demand (VOD) channel on unifi TV, Dunia Sinema is now available 24-hour as a non-stop linear movie channel and is offered as part of Aneka Pack and Ultimate Pack or on an ala carte basis at RM9 per month.

What Movies Can You Expect on Dunia Sinema?


Local movie fans are set to enjoy their favorite popular local movies on Dunia Sinema channel such as Pekak, Ophilia, Adnan Sempit, Wawa Semput, Mendam Berahi, Mat Moto and many more. Fans of popular movies from Asian countries will be delighted to watch popular movies from renowned film-makers such as Indonesia blockbuster 'Ketika Cinta Bertasbih' and 'Dalam Mihrab Cinta' as well as Thailand's favourite blockbuster movie such as 'Suddenly 20', 'May Who?', 'Ghost Ship', 'The Couple', just to name a few in Bahasa Malaysia subtitle. 

Specifically for the month of July, customers can enjoy local blockbuster movies such as 'Isteri Untuk Dijual', 'Abang Lejen', 'Nasi Tangas', 'Black Maria', 'Driving School', 'Make Me Shudder 2', and many more.
