It was a night of sweet luxury, from the beautiful Magnum Pleasure Lounge specially set up over at Mandarin Oriental. I was at the launch of their latest exquisite ice-cream creation the other night, where we were introduced to the all-new Magnum Hazelnut Luxe, and it was all good. Read on below.

The all-new flavour, Magnum Hazelnut Luxe was unveiled in a ritzy celebration at the Magnum Pleasure Lounge. Beautiful guests arrived decked in their best attire suited to the theme, the “Roaring Twenties”. It was all glamour and style, where we had lots of activities lined up before the actual launch. I loved the part where we got to create beautifully embellished, personalised milk chocolate bars.

Guests were introduced to the intricacies of chocolate tempering, demonstrated by expert chocolatier Chef Amanda Lim from Barry Callebaut. There was a live jazz band performing too, belting out popular tunes with a ragtime twist. Specially crafted Magnum desserts and perfectly prepared mocktails featuring hazelnut inspirations topped off the night’s revelry in style.
