Stairathon 2017 @ 1 Mont Kiara

My last "tower climb" was back in 2016, where with a couple of friends, we successfully scaled all 57 floors of KOMTAR tower. It was intense, where we started off by running a 2 km flat run, and immediately proceeded to run up the tower. Needless to say, I was literally walking / crawling towards the end, intense. Guess what? 1 Mont Kiara will be hosting its first ever “Stairathon” this 24th September! Read on below.

1 Mont Kiara will be hosting its first ever “Stairathon”, where they challenge everyone to take on a total of 1,370 steps all the way to the top of Wisma Mont Kiara, then down into 1 Mont Kiara mall. 1 Mont Kiara Stairathon 2017 on 24th Sept!

The first of its kind for any Malaysian mall, 1 Mont Kiara’s Stairathon was organised to address an affliction that has smothered our urban community: lethargy. Long are the days spent in a windowless office, where many of us have been deprived of sunlight and physical activity, as we are bound to our seats, and the computer screens that we serve. There will be four categories, and four champions, but we will all arrive as winners at the end of the line, where a variety of performances, games, and even a lucky draw session await us.
