This year, Le Pont Boulangerie invites couples to celebrate Valentine's day with their deliciously crafted dishes. It's a menu to be savoured both by the eyes, and taste buds. Le Pont came up with their Valentine's set, where you get to choose one appetiser and one main at the price of the main. Now how's that for a value-for-money set. Check it out below.

Appetizers

Mixed Fruit Salad

What a refreshing plate of Mixed Fruit Salad. A combination of fresh orange, strawberries, pomegranate and leafy green tossed with almond and that oh-so-sweet orange vinaigrette. This is one healthy appetiser, which is perfect this coming Valentine's Day. You know you want these. 

Assorted Tapas Trio

Interesting mix of tapas is part of the appetisers as well. Here you have deep fried cranberry cream cheese, foie gras mousse with balsamic strawberry salted crust and also smoked salmon with mango salsa all in one delightful plate. The Assorted Tapas Trio is a mix of savoury and sweet flavours, how quaint. 

Mains

Baked Chicken Roulade (RM 45.90)

Looks good, tastes even better

Luxury on a plate, enjoy the Baked Chicken Roulade, made from tender chicken stuffed with spicy mousseline inside. The sides even tastes good, with sauteed vegetables in chicken broth. Love this dish, and it looks good too! 

Sous Vide Pacific Catch (RM 48.90)

For those who prefer fish to poultry then do go for their Sous Vide Pacific Catch. Barramundi fish, cooked sous vide style, with cauliflower puree, I liked how the flavours turn out. The fish is just so fresh, and came in a rather generous portion. 

Sharing Platter (RM 45.90)

Personally, I would go for their Sharing Platter, a wonderfully plated platter full of my favourite noms. My loved one will like it too I'm sure. You have John Dory and calamari batter, cheesy chicken sausages all in one platter. Dip into their choice of sauces and sides too (Dijon Mustard, Sauerkraut, Pomodoro, and Aioli). It's time for desserts yes?  

Desserts

Noir Chocolate Fondue (RM 39.90)

Poached Strawberries (RM 16.90)

Indulge in mother of all dessert, the Noir Chocolate Fondue. Hot dark cocoa, with wonderful dips along the sides, ranging from marshmallows, grapes, strawberries, butter cake, peanut butter cookies and their signature Le Pont Waffles and ice cream. Good stuff there! My first time trying their Poached Strawberries though, which comes with cream, topped with the coco crumbles. 

Twilight Tango (RM 15.90)

Pink Passion  (RM 16.90)

Don't forget the drinks on Le Pont Boulangerie's Valentine Menu. Choose the Twilight Tango, an aromatic mixture of juniper berry, coriander seed, bayleaf, and fresh dill or the Pink Passion, a combination of raspberry, and passion fruit. What are you waiting for?
