Another meaningful year for Cheras LeisureMall, where they launched their annual community programme - Toy Bank, A Gift Of Love with the hope of brightening up with smiles of more than 600 children this Christmas. I was at last year's event, and the year before that. This year however, there's a special appearance by Titan The Robot which made such an impact to the children. Impressive performance!

Here's how to participate in the gifts donation

At the Whimsical Christmas Garden located at the ground floor concourse of Cheras LeisureMall, colourful cards bearing three wishes of over 600 children from 18 participating children's homes and charity houses are being hung up. Members of the public can be a part of this meaningful activity by fulfilling the wishes of these children.

Help a child out by fulfilling his or her wish

The Toy Bank - A Gift Of Love collection will run from 2nd to 27th December 2016. So how do you partake in this meaningful exercise? Just select a wishing card, prepare one or more gifts from the child's wish list and deposit the gifts into the Toy Bank. Easy, and you make a child so very happy. 

Apart from bearing gifts, we are encouraged to include a message on the wishing card as well, as it is the word of encouragement that never fails to elevate and inspire the children. The gifts of love will be delivered to the hands of the children by the mall management after the end of the gift collection period.

The recipients this year include children from Bodhi Homecare Cheras, Da Ci Jiang Tang, Desa Amal Jireh, Living hope Global, and a whole lot more. 170 children from the participating homes are invited to have memorable time at the launch of the Toy Bank, A Gift Of Love 2016 programme. I was there, and the atmosphere was one of joy and happiness. What made it even greater was the fact that we got to witness the incredibly cool Titan The Robot for the first time in Cheras LeisureMall.

An intergalactic superstar with comedic antics who has worked with numerous international artists such as Rihanna, Jackie Chan and Will Smith, Titan the Robot made its first ever public debut in Malaysia by sending cheers to over 150 children from various charity homes at Cheras LeisureMall! 

I'm literally awed by the flawless performance

Titan the Robot came all the way from UK, with such superb showmanship, it brought the audience to laughter and lots of smiles. The children from the various homes had so much fun, a full day of merriment as they were also treated to a special screening of the "Moana" movie by Golden Screen Cinemas, woodwind activities, dance, Christmas caroling, dancers, and lunch. Great day out I would say!
