IJM Land Bandar Rimbayu's Grand 'Harvest Joy Under The Moon' Mid-Autumn Celebration
It was a superb evening out with the family, where the mum, wife and kids had a really great time at IJM Land Bandar Rimbayu's Grand 'Harvest Joy Under The Moon' Mid-Autumn Celebration last weekend. The food was good, many folks around, and best of all we got to experience the beautiful mystical fairy tale forest under a bright moonlit sky to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Food, Food and More Food
The event was themed 'Harvest Joy and Unity Under the Moon', organized by IJM Land at The Arc, Bandar Rimbayu. The crowd started to come in from 6pm onwards, where we got to dine some really nice local food, mooncakes, and fruits before the lanterns were lit up later on in the night.

Activities
All present were treated to a feast of local delicacies along with a complimentary selection of dainty gourmet mooncakes and fresh pomelos while being serenaded by a Chinese orchestra that played a selection of contemporary tunes. I had my favourite Satays, along with some Malay rice, and char kuey teow, just to name a few. Love how we got to barbeque our own meat selections at a special corner. Fun.

Fun for the Kids
Children were also able to partake in the activities with a special Mini Barbecue area where they were able to enjoy tasty grilled treats. Best part was, after their meal, there's a really huge green field for the kids to run about. The field was so soft I had no worries of them falling, as that's what happened with Martin and Karlson, climbing back up without nary a scratch.

I really like this |
The Arc, Bandar Rimbayu was decked with a series of intricately landscaped, moonlit paths and specially themed areas such as the gaily lit Lovers' Bridge, which resembles the love story and sympathetic to sacrifices of Chang’E to Hou Yi in the ancient years. Apart from that, the we enjoyed the sightseeing of beautiful Garden by the Creek and the Mystical Forest. Roiling coils of smoke, giant lanterns in all shapes and sizes gently swaying in the wind and strings of beautiful lights bedecked the trees and landscape, offering a host of exciting photo opportunities for friends and loved ones alike.

Butterfly lanterns |
The mystical ambiance and beautifully lit trees and multi-coloured lanterns enthralled guests even as they admired the now transformed magical looking landscape. In times long past, the Mid-Autumn Festival was a time to renew old ties and bonds with friends and family alike. The same held true today under the moonlight as guests mingled, made new bonds and warmly renewed old ties even as they shared stories and memories together of this truly unforgettable and magic moment.

A good night out |
The kids were given complimentary paper lanterns, sparklers and luminescent bracelets to bring around the grounds of the park. A night to remember, I do feel IJM Land Bandar Rimbayu did an excellent job organizing an event like this. The Grand 'Harvest Joy Under The Moon' Mid-Autumn Celebration successfully brought together families amidst a beautiful township.
