MIDEA, have you checked out their extensive choice of electrical products recently? To date, they are one of the globe's largest technological innovators and manufacturers. I had the chance to attend their recent official event showcasing its international corporate background and achievements. At the event, current and future products were on display, and it was indeed a wide range of choices, from electrical household items to kitchen equipments, airconds, vacuum cleaners and a whole lot more.

Together with its current marketing plan, future strategies to penetrate our Malaysian market was revealed as well. In Malaysia, Midea is known as Midea Scott & English Electronics (MSEE). I'm sure you may have seen their very attractively priced products in the market as they entered the Malaysian market in 2006, making MSEE its authorised joint venture partner. The group originated from China, with 60 offices internationally, its products are available in more than 200 countries worldwide.

With 100,000 employees around the world, Midea Group is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2013 and own more than 10 subsidiaries. After sales services for their products are pretty solid too, with 67 contractors available across Malaysia to personally attend to consumers.

There's always that stigma associated with China made goods, but do you know nearly every major brand we know have their products manufactured in China, one way or the other? In recent times, brands from China are proven to be of good, durable quality and the best part is, they are affordable for most target markets!

Midea or MSEE aims to offer good quality small home appliances to people of various social economic backgrounds. In a nutshell, they aim to give everyone an opportunity to own these electrical items at a very affordable pricing. Vacuum cleaners going for as low as RM100+ just to name one, the products I saw showcased that morning had to be some of the lowest priced items I've seen in a while.

It was a corporate type of event, where the top guns from Midea worldwide and MSEE shared their vision to dominate the Malaysian market. Their strategies were shared too, from the strengthening of A&P activities, to expanding their sales network and pushing out products which are trendy and have smart features. I'll spare you the details, but do watch out for Midea as the upcoming major players in the market.
