Veggie Month @ Hard Rock Cafe Malaysia
Hey it's Vegetarian Awareness Month this whole of October! For the second year in a row, Hard Rock is going green with new offerings from its limited-time vegetarian menu. I didn't even know Hard Rock Cafe has a vegetarian thing going until recently when I personally tried it out. Pretty good stuff, where Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Kota Kinabalu will expand its legendary menu and serve up fresh and satisfying vegetarian-friendly dishes and plant-based beverages.

Be Edgy Go Veggie, Meatless Menu @ Hard Rock Cafe Malaysia |
All Vegetarian Menu
The new menu includes Cauliflower “Wings” served Buffalo-style, a Grilled Ratatouille Wrap featuring grilled vegetables and Sriracha mayo, and a Very Veggie ‘Tini featuring a mix of fresh vegetable juice, Greek Yogurt and Vodka. A full list of offerings includes the below.

Cauliflower “Wings” |
 |
Fennel, Beet & Orange Salad |
Crispy Buffalo-style cauliflower served with bleu cheese, celery and carrot sticks makes up the Cauliflower “Wings”. Love the taste of the sauce used to whip up this dish, which I can get over the fact that it's cauliflower inside. My favourite among the offerings offered. The Fennel, Beet & Orange Salad consists of roasted beets, crisp fennel, fresh orange, mint, cilantro and spring greens tossed in a garlic, lime and cumin vinaigrette

Grilled Ratatouille Wrap |
 |
Cauliflower Burger |
Cauliflower Burger you say? Here's the gist of it, a house-made patty of cauliflower, garlic, egg, goat cheese, oregano and breadcrumbs, topped with zucchini, squash, Monterey Jack cheese, arugula, tomato and garlic aioli, served on a toasted brioche bun. How's that for a mouthful of vegetable goodness. Not my cup of tea though. Next we had the Grilled Ratatouille Wrap, grilled ratatouille vegetables topped with Sriracha mayonnaise, olive oil and baby arugula, served in a seasoned grilled flour tortilla with a side salad.
 |
Spinach, Potato & Chickpea Burger |
Now this is more palatable, at least to me, the Spinach, Potato & Chickpea Burger made me want for more. A house-made patty of red skin potatoes, spinach, chili peppers, cilantro, chickpeas and spices, topped with arugula, tomato, cucumber and a spiced yogurt sauce, do try it out.

Cocktails to whet your appetite for more |

More Cocktails |
Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Kota Kinabalu new vegetarian menu also includes cocktails that pair perfectly with meatless options, including:
- Very Veggie ‘Tini – fresh cucumber, red onion, mint and lime juice shaken with Greek yogurt and Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- Bell Pepper Martini – a mix of Hendricks Gin, Benedictine, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, Hard Rock’s simple syrup, green peppers, mint and garnished with a green pepper ring

So what exactly is the Vegetarian Awareness Month?
The new menu items celebrate
Vegetarian Awareness Month, which was designed to spread awareness of vegetarianism and the benefits of a meat-free diet. What began as
World Vegetarian Day has blossomed into a month-long celebration of vegetarianism that involves educational events and festivities. Guests can stop by Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Kota Kinabalu to try out the latest items or visit
