XRYSS FITNESS - Personal Training House Call To Your Doorstep
Just very recently, a month or so back, I started looking seriously at exercising and my lack of it. Hence my running regime started, and that was when I stumbled upon XRYSS FITNESS, a Personal Training House Call Service right To Your Doorstep. Did I just mention personal trainer? Wow, never would I thought I could afford one, but this is a personalised one, where I could engage their services wherever and whenever I wanted to. Check out my experience below.

A short brief on what XRYSS Fitness does, and what they have to offer.
Xryss Fitness’ main focus is delivering Personal Training to your house or condo. It’s very much like private tuition. Only different is, we are teaching / guiding / coaching you into a better and healthier lifestyle from your home.

How Xryss came about?
Xryss is a short-form of the trainer's name, Christine. Xryss is pronounced as Chris or Kris. The reason she pulled out all the vowels is because she wanted to make the name unique and different from the rest. There are so many fitness centres around and to make one stand out it to be different.
Exercise in a good form can prevent/reduce injuries, getting ill, feeling fatigue and more. Keeping one fit has always been a challenge, that’s why we are doing house-call; to ensure that you are in shape for any parties, events, festive season and more. By starting from home; it will be good influence on your children, relatives and friends that exercise is good.
Xryss Fitness is now active and delivering Personal Training at your house or condo. It’s time to get fit and stay fit! I'm all IN!

Due to the flexible nature of XRYSS Fitness, I could request to have my personal training sessions done anywhere that is convenient to me. It was a stroke of genius then that we decided to have our first, out of 5 PT session, over at this really fun (but taxing to the legs) JumpStreet! An hour plus of jumping around in the facility, literally took my breath away. Sweat, coupled with exhaustion, it really worked me out. Great fun!

Results in 10 days? With that in mind, we went all out to get into shape. I had so much fun at the local gym too, as Christine taught me all I needed to lose the bulge and weight. This session, I trained my upper chest and abs. As they say, no pain no gain. Doing the reps had an effect on my body parts, an effect which lasted till the following morning.

It was another day of getting "jelly legs".. together with @xryss.fitness and @singingcoconut , we did our circuit training at the local gym. It was a mix of rowing, lounges, side planks and squats. XRYSS Fitness has a knack of teaching us the methods of using our body weight to exercise, without the need for expensive equipments. Who says keeping fit cannot be done at home?

I think one of the final few Personal Training session had to be the most intense one. Shown above, XRYSS Fitness had doing a whole host of exercise routine, which I have listed it down below. Never would I thought that I could complete these gruelling exercises, but I DID IT!
- Leg Press (54kg to 61kg)
- Mountain climbers
- Knee push ups
- Crunches
- Oblique Crunches
- Leg Raises (Flutter kicks)
- Leg Raises (both)
- Back Extension aka Superman
- Interval run & brisk walking for 2km
