It was a night of alcoholic indulgence over some great food prepared by Tai Thong to be paired with FIFTYSIX DEGREES Whisky. This chinese restaurant, Xin Xin Kee at Aman Puri, Kepong is no stranger to folks living nearby and many come for their bak kut teh, meat dishes and seafood. I've always loved Garrett popcorns, especially the macademia caramel ones. Garrett launched their newest Garrett Popcorn Shops at gateway@KLIA2 this morning, being their fourth location in Malaysia. Just last week, I was at the launch of the Kuala Lumpur Oyster Festival 2015 by Southern Rock Seafood. Now we know most Malaysians love their seafood, especially oysters, hence this festival happening in October 2015 came at the most apt time. So there I was as Southern Rock Seafood in Bangsar the other day to celebrate Cloudy Bay's 30th Anniversary over a casual wine-pairing session. The estate’s 2015 vintage was revealed too, a vintage boasting in overall provenance of Cloudy Bay wines. M Cafe, a batik boutique cafe by Meesha Sukira is one cool spot to dine in. I've had the opportunity to dine there a couple of days back thanks to FoodInk, and it was good. The cafe's core business is still in manufacturing and exporting of beautiful batik clothing and fabrics, the perfect spot to dine at while you are shopping for some nice batiks. So there I was last weekend at 1 Utama Shopping Centre to check out the latest Systema 3D Clean Toothbrush at their roadshow. The roadshow ran from 30th September to 4th October at the concourse area, with multiple booths set up complete with doctor's consultation on oral care, and sinks to immediately try out the toothbrush and its effectiveness. Did you know Tim Ho Wan has opened up another branch at 1 Utama. Prior to that everything on the menu is available from the outlet in Midvalley , but since there are now 2 outlets in Malaysia, every two months there's be an alternate menu which changes from one outlet to the other. My first time over at Ri-Yakitori, and it was to try out their all-new Kozara Ryori set lunch promotion.
