Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and the exodus back to hometown has begun. Everybody has either started or is going to head back in time for the celebrations. Much have been said about the latest eatery in town, where I had the opportunity to catch their launch the other day. KyoChon Malaysia, the #1 Korean Fried Chicken chain in Korea opened its doors to the public recently at 1 Utama Shopping Mall. Did you know February 14th, Valentine's day this year coincides with the 15th day of Chinese New Year, or Chap Goh Meh? How's that for a double celebration of love! I was at Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant @ Hilton Petaling Jaya the other day to try out their Chinese New Year ‘East Meets West Tale of Love’ set menu. PETRONAS' latest campaign in celebration of the upcoming 2014 Chinese New Year was launched recently with the premiere of a specially produced three-minute web film titled 'Young Hearts'. I had the opportunity to catch the premiere before it was launched to the public at their official Youtube channel. Recently I have plans to get Baby Martin into the swimming pool, just for him to get a taste of being submerged in water, other than the bath tub. What better way to start off the preparation than to get a rather large yellow duck float free from Huggies. It was my first time over at the Selangor Turf Club, to catch some horse race, betting on one, and of course to attend the Carlsberg's Chinese New Year 2014 Media Launch. This time around, I had the opportunity to dine at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant, Dorsett Grand Subang to try out their scrumptious Chinese New Year set menu.  We were in for a treat as the 'Goodwill Set' was served, packaged at RM 1388++ for a table of 8-10 persons. Waking up on the second day of 2014, to a sight which made me feel like I did something wrong last year and this was a punishment to me. I saw my car slumped to the left side, as the front left tyre was left without any air inside, being flat and all .
