Finally, something heartwarming arrived in my inbox today. Discoveria, the operator of Asia Pacific’s first-of-its kind, world class interactive 13,000 square foot dinosaur exhibition, Dinoscovery by Dinosaurs Live! recently played a role in making a wish come true for cancer patient, Nik Alik Irfan ( full name withheld ). Microsoft Malaysia today announced that it will be opening additional two Microsoft Authorized Reseller stores this weekend . These stores, situated in The Gardens Mall and One Utama, will be open for business from Saturday, 30th May and Sunday, 31st May respectively. Still on my quest to explore Nexus Bangsar South, this time around I ended up at a surprisingly good chinese restaurant, Dao Xiang, serving really nice Shunde cuisine from the Guangdong province in China. Occubite Pastry Cafe, another cafe that did not turn out like how I've expected it to be. With a name that reads pastries, I only expected pastries and cakes at their outlet in Quill City Mall. That Foodie Place, an outlet on the 3rd floor mezzanine of Midvalley Megamall got me confused for a moment. My initial thoughts upon hearing the name would be a spot where foodies congregate to chomp down on some food. To my surprise, they do not serve food there, instead they have some really unique and nice coffee and teh tarik, aptly named That Iced Coffee and That Teh Tarik.  That Foodie Place @ Midvalley Megamall

It was a fun trip up north the other day with a bunch of foodies and friends as we all packed into a Hyundai Starex and drove all the way to Nam Heong Food Court in Ipoh SoHo . Now Nam Heong has been a rather well known name, but I was totally awed by their new outlet. I was there last week with the family to try out their fares, and I must say, it didn't taste too bad. The cafe scene in Malaysia is booming, lots of folks having a field day trying out all the new cafes serving specialty coffee, and much more. There I was last week for the inaugural trade and consumer event in Malaysia dedicated to the café and teahouse communities.  The three-day event, CAFE Malaysia 2015 at MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre was packed with visitors from the time it opened its doors on May 7, 2015 right up to when it closed its doors at 5pm on May 9, 2015. A couple of weeks back, right before Martin got hospitalized due to dengue, he was happily enjoying himself at the Dutch Lady Milk Milestone Walk and Consumer Launch at Sunway Convention Centre. It took me quite a while to get this post up, as I wanted him fully well and active again before I edit the photos taken. Anyway, Dutch Lady recently launched its newly improved formulated milk powder for children, where they held a consumer event which was very interesting, to say the least. The next outlet in my quest to explore NEXUS Bangsar South so happened to have a fellow Penangite as its owner. Part of NEXUS Bangsar South's new Chillin' At Nexus campaign brought me to Chili ESPRESSO Nexus Bangsar South .
