Supperclub, an upscale gastrobar and lounge located at the F&B section of TREC KL opened up not too long ago. A very nice area, it's more of a pub and club rather than eatery, but they do serve really nice food too. I had the opportunity to try out their food offerings the other day, so do check out below on what Supperclub has to offer.

Check Supperclub out the next time you're at TREC KL
Fuelled by the talents & experience of its French-born founder Sebastien, Supperclub aspires to be the perfect spot for after-work chill-out and food. Location-wise, it's at a very nice location, just minutes drive away from KLCC. Inside you have this bar-lounge-like ambiance while they have an al-fresco outdoor area for diners to enjoy dinner.
Oyster Shooter - RM32 (min 3 shots)
We kicked off our meal with the Oyster Shooters, three of them. The oysters came in small shooter glasses doused in absolut vodka and spicy tomato juice. I must say, the juice is indeed very spicy. Fresh live oysters are available at Supperclub too, at RM68 for half dozen, and RM118 for a dozen.
Tomato and Avacado Bruschetta - RM21
Prawn on Spicy Avacado Bruschetta with Cillantro - RM23
Grilled Eggplant with Buffalo Mozzarella & Pesto - RM23
Supperclub serves a whole foray of fashionable tapas and bar bites, which we tried soon after. Avacado lovers will appreciate the Tomato and Avacado Bruschetta and Prawn on Spicy Avacado Bruschetta with Cillantro which were savoury and tasty. I found the Grilled Eggplant with Buffalo Mozzarella & Pesto to be very unique, a tad strong on the cheese flavour.
Grilled Baby Octopus - RM18
One of my favourite dish that night is the Grilled Baby Octopus, served in extra virgin oil and lemon. Love how fragrant it was and how tasty it felt in my mouth. It wasn't too pricey too, in comparison with the other tapas and dishes. I could finish the whole plate to myself, best taken with beer.
Grilled Scallops with jalapeno salsa - RM32
Grilled Scallops with jalapeno salsa, each piece topped with caviar. Now you know when you have a good thing when one piece isn't enough to satisfy your cravings. I truly did enjoy these scallops, and three pieces to a dish just wasn't nearly enough. Good stuff.
Seafood Risotto - RM46
Squid Ink Tagliatelle - RM42
If you're a pasta and risotto lover then these two dishes will be right up your alley. We tried Supperclub's Seafood Risotto, which came with generous servings of fresh mussels, octopus, clams, squids, scallops , and tiger prawns. The Squid Ink Tagliatelle's good too, very savoury and tasty. The dish came with homemade black flat pasta served with fresh scallops (oh I love the scallops), broccoli and cherry tomatoes.
Sauteed Prawn in white wine, garlic and spicy tomato sauce - RM21
Another delectable seafood dish, the Sauteed Prawn in white wine, garlic and spicy tomato sauce is a meal on its own. Served in a bowl, with generous amounts of prawns inside, one of this should satisfy some light eaters out there. I on the other hand need some form of meaty goodness, which I gladly had next! Read on.
WOW Platter - Fresh Whole Lobster & US Black Angus Rib Eye Steak & Australian Rack of Lamb - RM398++
We literally saved the best for last, and tried one of their three WOW Platters. Served freshly grilled, each of the wow platters is served with homemade roasted potatoes, and olive oil grilled vegetables. That evening we had WOW platter #3, which consist of Fresh Whole Lobster, US Black Angus Rib Eye Steak and Australian Rack of Lamb. All three are my favourite type of meat, and I truly enjoyed myself. The steak and rack of lamb was done just the way I liked it, not overly done at all! Perfect to be shared up to 3 pax, do order this if you're up for it!
