One fine weekend, together with a bunch of bloggers and friends, we were at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel to check out their Wedding Packages through a fun and unique preview session. For weddings of a grand design, the magnificent pillarless Grand Ballroom accommodates a maximum capacity of 80 tables (10 persons per table) and is the perfect backdrop for a memorable wedding banquet. Lit by 2 grand chandeliers, the Grand Ballroom can accommodate 2 stages – 1 for the main event and 1 for the band.

For weddings of an elegant and intimate nature, the R-Studio is an intriguing lifestyle venue, and is able to accommodate up to 300 persons for a cocktail reception or 250 persons for a banquet. The open-air terrace provides a relaxed ambience where guests can chit-chat over cigars while enjoying the evening cityscape.

Located on Level 2 East Wing, the Grand Harpers feature mirrored windows offering stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. It can accommodate 80 persons for a cocktail reception. Or, choose any of our multi-purpose Function Rooms that open up into a large hall. With a raised platform and chic chandelier, the function room fits a maximum capacity of 10 tables (10 persons per table).

For a Tropical Poolside Wedding, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel’s Olympic-sized swimming pool provides the tranquility to a relaxed outdoor ceremony. Dynasty Restaurant‘s private dining rooms can be converted into one large dining area completed with an elegant foyer for an intimate wedding reception or dinner. It can easily accommodate 80 persons.

After a tour of the various venues and wedding dinner packages offered by Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, we adjourned to their Lifesytle Bridal Suite on the top floor for a host of fun activities. We got to savour more good food, watch a rather interesting belly dancer doing her thing, play some fun games, and basically let our hair down and selfie all we want. Good times.
