Tim Ho Wan, Midvalley : Chef’s Recommendation Sep/Oct 2015
Did you know Tim Ho Wan has opened up another branch at 1 Utama. Prior to that everything on the menu is available from the outlet in Midvalley, but since there are now 2 outlets in Malaysia, every two months there's be an alternate menu which changes from one outlet to the other. I had the opportunity to try out the the promotional menu that's only available exclusively at Tim Ho Wan’s Mid Valley outlet, from 1 September till 31 October 2015.

Dumpling with Spicy Sauce (RM15.80)
Something different from your usual dim sum, the dumpling with spicy sauce is part of TimHoWan's new range of mouth-watering promotional menu. The special spicy black vinegar sauce does wonders to an already delicious juicy meat dumpling. It's spicy enough to tingle your taste buds, but not too spicy that it'll burn your tongue. Perfect.

Desserts at Tim Ho Wan is made even better with their freshly baked egg tarts. These warm shortcrust pastries has one of the most flaky, butter crust I've tried in a while. The silky soft centre is made from fresh egg daily, yummy to the last bite.

ReplyDeletereally popular restaurant and there is a reason why, because the dishes are amazing. even the egg tart looks great.
ReplyDeleteWhen there once, can't see what's so special about the dishes except for a popular brand name. Was actually disappointed when I left cause I had quite a high expectation plus I was there with a Hong Kong friend and he spend half the time commenting that it lacks a certain finest that is synonymous with the name in Hong Kong.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice there. But we have not tried it out here in KL due to their limited menu.
ReplyDeleteThe prices seems affordable and the food looks good! Especially the steamed fish maw..
